팔라가마 비치(Palagama Beach)

We stayed 3 nights and were totally charmed by the time we left. There were a few problems with our beach cabana so we moved to a garden cabana which suited us better. Huge freshwater pool so bats were drinking from it. Best food we had on our whole trip cooked to order. Chef even BBQd a whole fish that our guide bought while we were on a lagoon trip. Denzil was always caring and chatty. Only small downside was lots of mosquitoes and critters but really didn't agfect our enjoyment

Very nice hotel with beautiful cabanas. Infinity pool with direct access to the beach. Great staff, very good food. Only the acces to the hotel is a bit strange. The hotel is a great if you want to stay at the hotel and enjoy the beach. However we didn’t have luck with the weather. During the night we had a major rainstorm, and we had some rain in the cabana. The next day, the staff did everything to fix the leak. Despite the bad weather, we had a great day. Dinner was very good local food. You see that COVID had a big influence on tourism in general in Sri Lanka. Two hotels near Palagama were closed/ abandoned. But the staff does everything to give their clients the stay/holiday the need/deserve.

We visited Palagama Beach in November 2022. We really enjoyed the peaceful stay. Beautiful sunsets, cabanas are truly authentic Sri Lankan. Our Cabana was right at the ocean had a great view, most of all you can hear the ocean at night and it was so peaceful. We did not get anyone trying to sell stuff at the beach pretty much had the pool and the beach to ourselves. The Staff is very helpful and kind, specially the manager Viraj. He was very attentive provided us with delicious meals. There's also Mini the dog who is very friendly and greet you as you come by.

We spent two nights here at the start of our holiday in Sri Lanka.In line with other hotels in the area, there was a shortage of guests and we were made to feel very welcome by the staff. Our Cabana was very charming, with the outdoor shower a real delight! The side door opened on to a terrace with two sun beds, a nice option to get out of the hot sun. There is a lovely swimming pool looking out across the Indian Ocean, the beach itself is clean, although when we were there the tide was quite high, so not a lot of sand, the the sea was lovely and warm! The menu was slightly limited but perfectly okay for our stay, and the food was excellent. A shout out to Leo the chef. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits au Palagama Beach, et nous avons adoré débuter notre périple ici. Véritable havre de paix, nous étions les seuls clients, la piscine et la plage en mode privatif pour nous 3. Denzil a été aux petits soins pour nous ! Un grand MERCI pour sa gentillesse et ses attentions, cela a rendu notre séjour mémorable 🙏🤩

Un havre de paix à Kalpitiya! Super endroit pour passer un séjour en couple ou en famille avec des chambres / cottages spacieuses et tout équipées. Superbe piscine et un accès direct à la plage. Et pour couronner le tout des hôtes compétant et à votre écoute prêts à vous accueillir de la meilleur des manières! On y retournera très certainement!

Un petit paradis situé sur la péninsule de Kalpitiya. les hôtes sont adorables et les cottages sont décorés avec soins et simplicité. Le lieu à été fermé longtemps à cause de la pandémie comme beaucoup d'autres et l'activité reprend peu à peu. L'endroit a été parfaitement maintenu entre temps et vous pourrez profiter d'une piscine donnant sur l'océan et d'une nourriture bio provenant des producteurs alentours. les hôtes sont de très bons conseils sur les activités à faire aux alentours. Je conseille vivement.
