골든 로즈 스위트(Golden Rose Suites)

Très bel hôtel, faisant plus penser à un studio. Accueil extra, l'hôtesse est extrêmement gentille. Petit déjeuné varié (ça n'est pas un buffet, elle vous sert au fur er à mesure) La Canée est à 20-25min en voiture (le Parkplatz vers ma plage est assez pratique) Il y a un monastère (3€) à proximité de l'hôtel, un autre (même prix) plus profondément à la Canée, il sont très jolies et bien restaurés Balos beach est très jolie (surtout le point de vue) mais tout y est payant (1€/personne pour une route ignoble, 3€ pour un parking plus que moyen), la remontée est dure, mais ça vaut le coup ! Il y a aussi la plage de Falasarna où le coucher de soleil y est incroyable.

Arrived very late, early hours of the morning, lady owner waited up for us, showed us to our room and said we can sort all check in at breakfast. Very thoughtful and nice welcome. Room was spacious for a couple and a 5 year old child. Dining and kitchen area in the main area and separate bathroom with shower, and a balcony with table and chairs. Breakfast is nice with a choice of bacon, omelette, toast, lovely cheese and tomato croissant and pastries, boiled eggs, cereal etc. Good location for 10-15 minutes walk to beach, beach mainly pebble so swimming shoes recommended. Smallish pool but perfect for the 3 of us as no-one else used it. 2 restaurants very close with play areas. There were others a further walk away but the road was a bit scary to walk down. A little shop was over the road for essentials. The bus stop was almost literally over the road, and the bus was really easy to use and navigate so it was no problem to travel further afield during the day and evening. Given we have had 30 years of getting lost on buses we were obviously wary. It was so simple you almost can't get lost - famous last words..... Would definitely stop again.

Very clean hotel, daily room cleaning. Very welcoming and attentive staff. Magnificent flower garden very well maintained. Very nice pool area. The last day we had to leave very early in the morning for our return to the airport, and the manager prepared the breakfast buffet for us at 6:30 am instead of normally 8:00 am. I highly recommend, and I will be happy to come back if possible.

We visited "Golden Rose Suites" in June 2023. The hospitality was excellent and the room was spacious and very clean. Τhe garden and the pool were very nice. Ιt is a good place for quiet holidays and relaxation.

The hostess ( Helena) was extremely helpful , organising a boat trip and a massage. The room was comfortable and hot shower. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of varieties . Located about 2 kms from kolmvari village. Massage centre across the road was reasonable .

Our experience in this hotel has been fantastic! Rooms are beautiful, big and equiped with modern and nice beds, table, bathroom and kitchen, besides a big balcony with a table. The room and all the environment were very clean, bed sheets were changed every day and the kitchen was equiped with all things were necessary to cook. The swimming pool, situated in a wonderful garden full of beautiful flowers and fruits trees, was also cleaned every day. The owner is very nice and friendly, she showed her great hospitality and always helped us for everything we needed. Breakfast was included and always abundant and one can also have lunch and dinner: food was delicious! The hotel's position is very good, close to the beach and to many shops, coffees, restaurants.. and even bus stations (if one has not a car). I suggest this hotel to everybody, families and young people: we have been very well, as we were in our home!

Innanzitutto c'è da dire che questo piccolo albergo "familiare" viene reso speciale dalla attenta cura e dalla buona cucina ( rigorosamente greca ) della bravissima e gentile Eleni che - in pratica - fa tutto da sola. Ecco, magari una gestione un tantino meno al risparmio eliminerebbe qualche piccolo difetto ma - nel complesso ( considerato anche il rapporto prezzo / qualità ) - il nostro giudizio è decisamente positivo. Camere spaziose e pulite ( giornalmente ). In quella con doppia stanza occorrerebbe un secondo condizionatore ( o anche uno solo, se posizionato meglio ) altrimenti in un ambiente ti congeli e nell'altro fai la sauna. Così come occorrerebbe almeno un condizionatore nella sala colazione / ristorante. Noi abbiamo scelto la formula "mezza pensione" e - a parte qualche pecca / mancanza superabile - siamo rimasti piuttosto soddisfatti. Considerate le dimensioni dell'isola ( enorme, con strade "difficili" e piene di autovelox / trappola ) il Golden Rose ti consente di raggiungere le mete più ambite in tempi relativamente brevi ( ma sempre intorno ad un'oretta di auto, anche oltre ). Se un giorno si vuol riposare e non macinare ulteriori chilometri, il mare di fronte ( non entusiasmante, ma buono ) è raggiungibile anche a piedi. Ci sono un lido spartano e gratutio ( con consumazione ) ed almeno un paio di gradevoli taverne. Esperienza significativa e posti unici, anche se dal prossimo anno sceglieremo sicuramente un'isola più piccola ed a misura d'uomo ... Ripetiamo - comunque - che il nostro giudizio è decisamente positivo e consigliamo vivamente questa struttura. Ciao Eleni e grazie di tutto : Famiglia Califano da Avellino ( Italia ).

Llegamos tarde y tuvimos problema con la reserva, pero la verdad que Heleni/Eleni un 10, pudimos resolver todo y la verdad que nos hubiéramos quedado más días. Ubicación ideal para conocer el oeste de la isla, la habitación enorme, el balcón hermoso con tender para la ropa, el patio divino, el desayuno variado y bueno, pero lo mejor, la atención!!! Lo único "negativo" que podría decir es que no había cuchillos ni nada para lavar los platos pero la verdad que ni usamos la cocina. Gracias por todo!! Sin duda recomendamos y ojalá volver pronto!
