Glenross Living - A Collection of 7 Private Pool Villas and 3 Colonial Suites

We stayed at GLENROSS living for 1 night as a family of 3. We absolutely loved the scenery, no one can take away from its location and views. We stayed in the cinnamon villa 1, which was probably one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed at, huge villa, glass windows all around, separate tv room and pool on the lower deck and those views. The staff were polite and very welcoming. I would however rate the food quality below expectations which was a surprise given that all guests would eat on site as this is a secluded location and I was extremely dissapointed they didn’t have a coffee machine in the room, nor decent coffee in the restaurant. We loved the place for a one night stay but for me the food was a big minus .

The room we stayed in was hands down the coziest and most spacious I’ve ever experienced—honestly, it felt like stepping into a boutique suite straight out of a luxury travel magazine! Every piece of furniture was perfectly placed, creating a vibe that was both elegant and homey. It wasn’t just a room; it was an experience. The staff went above and beyond—especially Ajith, who deserves a special shout-out for being incredibly attentive and kind. Their support was off the charts (easily a 120% effort, if not more). The food? Absolutely divine. Every meal was a treat packed with flavor and made with care. There’s just one area where the hotel could level up: improving the timeliness of certain services. A bit more speed would make the entire stay flawless.

My wife and I were privileged to have a two night transfer from the Blue Waters Hotel, Wadduwa to The Glen Ross, lodge 3. It was amazing from the excellent Blue Water Hotel this was a real contrast. Location was magical, facilities were marvellous, staff without exception were courteous and proffesional. They really cared that we were be ing looked after. The team of room boys you looked after our lodge were good . The food was cooked fresh and appetizing. My wife had a " energizing massage " that was incredible !! Thanks to Sunijth our host who made us feel so welcome, thanks to all staff for making our all to brief stay an experience we will always remember.

Glenn ross living was an excellent choice for our last two nights in Sri Lanka. An old colonial mansion house nestled in the hills of a tea/rubber/cinnamon forest. Excellent views and facilities including yoga, spa treatments, gym. We enjoyed a walk with Larry to see the estate workings. The menus are broad and excellent from a variety of local dishes as well as 5course menu. Excellent service from a great staff team.

This venue offers so much and we genuinely advise that if anyone has the opportunity to visit then they should. The accommodation (bungalows) offer everything for your stay. All are attentively serviced and offer tranquility within a forestry / jungle setting. Even the monkeys may pass by as you bathe in the infinity pool. The staff will attend to your needs. The food is superb and prepared by master chefs who ensure that everything is to your liking. I will also make special mention of Sumega the classical health yoga teacher. We had never done yoga before. We leave with seeds of spirit and well being gained in our two yoga classes. On our return home we will seek such a teacher.
