Came across the Sun Maris by chance, while looking for a nice hotel in Faliraki. We checked out the reviews, and it seemed perfect for us. Having been delayed, we arrived quite late, and were greeted with a warm welcome from Mary, who had already been working since 7am. We chatted for a while over a drink, and instantly knew we had chosen the right hotel. Hotel is great, good location, very clean, rooms are well kept, a big thank you to Victoria the housekeeper. Fantastic pool area, no fighting over sunbeds, and very relaxing. We met so many lovely people in the hotel, most of whom were returning customers, all of them had nothing but love and admiration for Mary, as do we. Thank you Mary for all your hard work, local knowledge, lovely food, good conversations, and making our holiday extra special. We highly recommend this hotel, and hope to return again soon. Just spent 3 weeks with the fabulous Mary T (Host and owner), at Sun Maris, first time we have stayed there having used the pool etc for the past 2 years, cannot say how fantastic the whole experience has been, arrived as clients but left as friends, absolutely nothing was too much trouble for Mary and the food was to die for, well not literally! We have already booked for 2025, David and Maureen, Linda and Malcolm

Absolutely wonderful stay at this 5* hotel. The host Mary is a complete gem. She will give you a first class welcome. The hotel is spotless, and her food is out of this world. Highly recommend. We will be back again and again xxx

Just in the airport after another amazing week at Sun Maris. The apartments, bar area and pool area are absolutely spotless. The owner Mary is not only the owner but becomes your friend. Nothing is too much trouble from preparing whatever breakfast, lunch and dinner you request to always supplying cakes, fruit and drinks when you lease expect it. Mary really is the soul and heart of the place and once you have been once you will want to go back time and time again. Thank you again Mary for making us feel so at home and see you next year.

Everything was as expected and more! Mary the owner was a fabulous host... nothing too much trouble. The rooms are spotless clean and comfortable. Always a sunbed around the pool. Great homemade food and well stocked bar. Will definitely be back next year. Met Mary as a customer and left as friend. Can't wait to get back there.

Just returned from our two week holiday at the sun maris. Been coming here for years. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Clean, comfortable and perfect location. We love it here. Mary is an angel. Mary is always giving out treats and goodies her mum has cooked and they are stunning. She is so helpful and cannot do enough for you. Was so good to see you again.

What an amazing place to stay. We have stayed here several times now and the place is just amazing. Yes Mary the owner makes all the difference with amazing food, kindness, knowledge of the area and island. The studios are spotless and the communal areas and pool amazing. If you want to stay In Faliraki then this is the most amazing place to stay

Great hotel with a fantastic owner , would recommend to anyone , mary makes you feel so welcome almost like a member of her family she definitely goes out fo her way to make your stay one to remember.

Just returned from staying at the San Maris apartments in Rhodes. What a fabulous holiday - apartments spacious and immaculately clean, pool area gorgeous and friendly guests. What made our holiday was Mary - she provided a wonderful welcome, told us all about the resort and area, great places to visit and eat and nothing was a problem, Mary is so friendly and helpful and wants all her guests to be happy and to enjoy their stay at her beautiful accommodation. She spoilt me and the kids - what a wonderful lady. Thanks Mary - we will definitely be back.
