호텔 브란단(Hotel Brandan)

We really loved our stay at Hotel Brandan! All of the staff were extremely helpful! The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety. We had two connecting rooms that worked out perfectly for a family of four. The ample parking is very convenient. You are close enough to Torshavn to make a long walk or a short drive and park in town but the readily available parking at Hotel Brandan makes it very easy for day trips throughout the islands. There is a grocery store that is open until 2300 a couple of blocks from the hotel and a shopping mall is near as well. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Faroe Islands!

I have been at Hotel Brandan several times last three years with groups from Iceland. Nice hotel, service minded staff and good food at Husagardur. We at Ferðaskrifstofa eldri borgara will use Hotel Brandan in all our trips to Faroes Islands.

We normally don't stay at 4 star hotels - they all seem the same. However, the Brandan, which we were booked into as part of a Faroes Isalands tour, had a real point of difference. The staff were always extermely helpful. Extra touches like the wine hour definitely enhances our stay. Both the inhouse restaurant and bistro were very good as were the buffet breakfasts.

I was great full for the location, easy walk to town or take a bus! The staff was great, food amazing.

New, small and nice hotel in Faroe. Everything is quite new as it was opened a few years ago. Room is small and is difficult to fit in 2 big suitcases. Bathroom was fine. Restaurant was really nice. Good in cafe was good but quite salty - probably chef didn’t try the sauce before putting on the food! Staff was all very friendly. Quite a good selection of Faroe souvenirs at the reception. But quite a number of rooms are facing the car park.

we initially had an issue with our room however the staff offered us a different room with an upgrade. there was a free glass of wine during happy hour and the staff were fantastic and gave us great restaurant recommendations. we will definitely stay here again.

Overall it is a good, clean, and modern hotel. The only reason I cannot give it a perfect score is for two reasons: 1. Upon check-in, the receptionist told me that breakfast was included with my stay. It turns out that was not true and I ended up having to pay for breakfast at check-out. 2. The hot tub was 200 DKK per person. I’m sure it was written in their book; however, it would have been nice to been notified of this by the receptionist when we booked it. It is a very steep price to add onto an already expensive hotel stay and we wouldn’t have booked it if we knew the price.

Hotel is very new. Staff are very nice. Seems to be well set up for conferences and other private events. Has a young, hip vibe. Has a nice souvenir shop. Fairly close to a town bus stop (the bus that leaves from outside the information centre in down town). Two stops from SMS shopping centre. This hotel felt very expensive for the location and amenity. Tiny towels. Toilet squashed into ensuite. No self service guest laundry. Quite inconsistent meal size and quality in the bar area. Think it’s the same owners as Hotel Hafnia as that is what shows up on the cc. If I go back I’ll stay closer into town. But if you want a classy, well appointed place to stay, this is a good choice.

Had a blessing weekend stay at Hotel Brandan in the heart of Tórshavn. Everything was so clean, breakfast was delicious! The beds were nice and clean. Pillow was a bit large/too fluffy. Staff were friendly, welcoming and so helpful with everything from room service to check in. Only one bad thing, there was so much noise the first night (probably a party going on) other than that everything was 5 stars. Would recommond it to everyone.
