An unforgettable experience in an exceptionally unique setting. Björn proved to be an outstanding guide throughout our journey. From the amazingly tranquil scenery to the unique local cuisine culminating in the delicious late-night BBQ - every aspect exceeded our expectations. Thank you sincerely for such a memorable trip!

My partner and I spent 2 nights at the Peace & Quiet Hotel in September and it was absolutely amazing. We walked a few minutes through the woods to our secluded cabin room. You will need to pack light and carry backpacks but this information is provided at the time of booking. We left our larger suitcases in the car by the roadside. As we reached the river we stayed in a little glass cabin with great views of the river and the stunning nature surrounding it. You are completely at one with nature. The cabin was very comfortable and It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. You can lie in bed and watch the sunset/sunrise and if you are lucky the northern lights. Breakfast items are provided fresh each day, and plenty of them. One of the evenings we were treated to a dinner with local specialities cooked over an open fire outside our cabin by the lovely owner Björn and one of his daughters. It was really delicious and we truly enjoyed our meal. We also enjoyed sitting outside our cabin and just enjoying our magical and quiet surroundings. The hotel offers a wide variety of activities if you wish to explore the area more and Björn will happily book these for you. We had booked a Flavor Tour with local guide Eva who was also amazing and very knowledgeable and passionate. We learnt a lot about what you can do with the berries, herbs, flowers and trees in the forest to make for example tea, cordials and spices. I would highly recommend a stay at the Peace & Quiet if you are looking for an unique experience. We had an absolutely wonderful couple of days and evenings in the beautiful surroundings and were very well cared for by the very kind and accommodating staff. We would love to come back and experience the hotel in the winter time too.

What an amazing experience. Away from lights and noise on the bank of the little Lule älv we enjoyed an unforgettable evening. Tasty diner on ice, sitting next to a cosy camp fire and above us the awe inspiring aurora borealis. Thanks so much Björn and your team for hosting us. What a cool and sustainable concept these Aurora Huts are!

The accomodation was very well equipped, the design was very clever and unique (especially the cooler that was built into the floor) . The bed was very comfortable and you could control the temperature of the hut . The host was super friendly and helpful, he went the extra mile to help me with activities around Jokkmokk and showed me the ice bath which was very close by. The breakfast was amazing, with local bread and jam which I loved

There can’t be a more spectacular glamping available in the world. The hut is cosy. Mine was very new and fresh with crisp sheets and Sami details. The best thing was almost the whole dome was a window. The bed was comfortable. It had a little fridge, shove top and sink with the freshest nordic water. A toilet but no shower. It is best to have 2 or 3 nights to in increase your chance to see the Northern lights. I highly recommend taking part in many activities provided. Its spectacular and the Founder Björn is a Local top Nordic Adventure Guide and former Reindeer Ranger. He made me feel very tingly to have such a adventure Id have thought was out of my winter skill level and taught me a lot. I did the night sauna, cryptotherapy ice bathing and ice dinner under magical Northern lights dancing in the start sky at the sight. You can ice fish in the built in hole with lights in the hut! The team also lead me on : - a Snowmobile safari to learn about Sami and fed some reindeer. - cross country skiing and picnic lunch There are so many more things I want to do and I plan to return to experience this special stay in many seasons. I came alone and felt safe. It felt healing and exotic. I think this would be romantic to do as a couple. I meet a multi-generation family here as i joined them on the snowmobile safari. The grandmother and 8 year old were part of the tour in a covered sleed and one in their party was a professional athlete which showed me how fun this was in different ways. The Ice Dinner I took part in at Peace and Quiet was high standard and carefully chosen with all ingrediens from Locals herd and farm to campfire. Warm clothes for -35degrees may be needed, but I was outside in this Gorgeous Eco hut smack in the middle of a frozen lake with only snow covered pinne trees in sight…from pink sun up, purple must and the heavenly Aurora lights with Zermott light or noise pollution. On a practical note, I flew to Lulea, if you book 2 days in advance there is a taxi shuttle for around 30 euros which was 2 hours. The team drives you by snowmobile to the hut. The rental gear was good quality. You don’t need a car. I plan to come back and experience the beauty here in other seasons with my daughters and friends who loved the photos i sent them, but they dont do this place justice.

Great location, lake literally everywhere around. The host was very nice and helpful . We had very tasty and big breakfast from him. Apartament was well equipped, nice and clean. I higly recommend for those who want to expierence close contact with nature.

ad to walk in the forest in a path that wasn't prepared before, it was my boyfriend who had to go first before me and the guide to reach safely the hut. And then, the problems continued, we arrived at a lake, with 2 huts, but we booked the expensiver hut, the mountain view hut, supposed to be on the top of the mountain that is double price than the lake hut ! No apologies, nobody told us, nobody explained to us when I said we booked another hut, and not even a refund, it was cold outside and we were in the middle of nowhere so we decided to stay a while in this hut to think and talk about it. The hut itself was a big disappoin**ent, first it wasn't all the services and equipments written on airbnb or booking, no bathroom, the swimming pool is just the lake !! The "kitchen" is a sink with no frying pan, not even a microwave, no fridge even if it was mentionned, again, only 1 fork for 2 persons, the 20 euros /200 kr breakfast per person was a joke : 1 slice of bread per person, one joghurt pot, butter,1 little jam pot and one apple. Also it said "enjoy the treats and drinks, everything is free of charges for your pleasure", but everything was passed ! Nothing was still good to eat or drink for months, I took a picture of every cans, candies and treats, that were older than a year!! It was written champagne and wine, we got alcohol free wine.... no comment. Then we were a little bit afraid to be hungry and fortunally we took some meat to cook because it said "bbq on the terrace", but it was no firewood... then we had to go in the forest to take some wood to be able to eat something !! I also took pictures of the inside of the hut, because it was dirty as hell ! Food dust on the shelves, only 2 plates with old dried food stains, we found old dried food in the bed, it was dead insects in the lamp over the bed, coffee and sticky food stains on the table... Then we tried to go over all of that and sleep, so the next day, we decided to leave as soon as possible but here in the north, if you don't plug your car on a heating system, you have troubles to start it, and it happend, the car didn't start at the beginning and we were stucked in the snow by -13°C for more than a 1 hour and half because they didn't shovel the parking even after we complained having being stuck when we arrived (and we are from the northern part of Sweden so we are use to it), and then my back tires were frozen because of the quantity of snow around it. We had to call a car assistans to help us, because nobody from the "hotel" replied whe we called for help on whatsapp and booking. Definitely not worthing my money, never again and will never recommand it. It's just a horrible tourist trap. The hut itself could have been good, but the services are not at all at the level ! The prices that are crazy doesn't give any sense to it. Run away !!

Was für ein tolles Erlebnis. Glashütteniglus sind top sauber,gemütlich, Trockentoilette und kleine Kochnische, Wlan vorhanden und ein traumhafter Blick über den gefrorenen See und nachts Polarlichter. Bettina hat abends noch gekocht, super Job. Lieben Dank. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.
