Daspan House

Such a fantastic hotel, must stay in Jodpur. Beautiful rooftop pool, excellent service. Decorous food, lovely garden. Hotel staff were very helpful and organised our onwards taxi to Jaipur as well as a guided tour in Jodpur. The rooms are spacious.

Fabulous boutique hotel a short ride into the city. Swita was superb from check in to check out. Food and bar were fantastic. Good sized rooms with large bathrooms and good air conditioning. Definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Jodhpur.

Quiet hotel Nice and functional room with a view over a beautiful garden. Poor breakfast. No fresh bread, no cheese and no cold cuts. We expected a better coffee Staff is ok without being friendly as in others hotels in this category. Improvements could be easily made

Elite, mesmerising decor, very comfortable beds, best shower massage, both Siddhartha and V***n have put in next generation thought to create this property. The meal tasting menu is a must to try for. If not winters then the infinity pool is the best place to relax and unwind. The bar as a global collection and is paired with best gastronomical menu curated to enjoy every event. We stayed for a night and all we did was explerd the hotel. Its a world inside daspan. Must try on Jodhpur list.

We had a wonderful stay in Jodhpur Thanks to Daspan House. The rooms were exquisitely appointed and the entire place has a wonderfully antique charm to it inspite of boasting all the modern amenities. The food was truly awesome across the numerous meals that we enjoyed at the Hotel including the New year party where most hotels often fall short of expectations. All our families enjoyed the stay and the hospitality and would love to cone back !!

This was a peaceful haven; a beautiful ***icured garden with plenty of seating and a rooftop pool with 6 woven flat beds. We dined in the garden in the evening and ate a lovely meal. Non residents can also dine. There is a cute courtyard with a fountain or additional indoor dining. We found this too dark at breakfast and chose to eat outside. The breakfast offered eggs. We ate simply. Fruit and toast. Most breakfast dishes offered didn’t grab our attention. We missed plain yoghurt as an option, pastries, pancakes and a larger fruit portion and selection. Café lattes with a home made biscuit during the day was a nice touch as was the homemade ginger and smoothies. I enjoyed the champi head trea**ent on the balcony which was invigorating and good value. The rooms are delightful with comfortable pillows! Staff are attentive. There is a phone to call service from the pool. Half of the rooftop is disused and would benefit from canopies and soft seating options. The pool area would also benefit from adjustable lounger seating. You can glimpse the fort from the rooftop. The indoor foyer leading to the rooms is a delightful reading space with a**ospheric soft music. Most residents tour predominantly during the day so the hotel is quiet until the evening groups return. It’s quiet, on a no through road. We would stay again. Laundry is individually priced. Coffee in the room is of good quality. They don’t use single use plastics and water is provided in glass bottles. The small hair dryer kept cutting out drying long hair. Small irritations.

We stayed at Daspan House in Jodhpur for our first stop in Rajasthan. It exceeded all of our expectations and we both agreed was one of the most beautiful, well decorated, well run hotels we had ever stayed in. The team were so helpful and organised everything for us including a full day tour around Jodhpur with a private guide to see all of the sites we wanted to see. Our guide was called Pawan and he absolutely made our trip. We visited everything Jodhpur has to offer- but nothing felt overwhelming with him and we felt totally relaxed having him with us. He told us the full history of everywhere we went and amazing advise when we visited shops and markets. Most importantly, he was the kindest person who we will recommend to everyone who comes to Jodhpur. Thank you so much!

Just wow!! Beautiful old house of royal family, with a very nice garden as well. Staff is super super friendly, really interested when you come back from a day of sightseeing, it gave a real home-ly feeling. Rooms are very spacious and very clean. We only had small problem with shower button, but they fixed it right away. I can 100% recommend this. You will not be sorry for sure!!!

Beautiful hotel in a very peaceful setting with lovely helpful staff. The restaurant food was very good. Breakfast was a little disappointing as the selection was limited and the food was cold. The other negative was the request for full payment the week before stating if it was not received in 12 hours the booking would be cancelled. This was quite stressful as international transfers can take longer. I would have expected payment to be taken from the card details provided. Prior to arriving I tried to get confirmation of receipt of the payment to no avail though I could see the transaction was completed with my bank. At checkout I was told they still had not got confirmation but that there can be a delay and they would be in touch if any issues.
