The stay at Abu Safari Hostel has been great! We loved to hang out on their rooftop with view to the Jaisalmer fort! The staff and owner were some very nice people. The owner also offer safari trip with overnight that seems like a cool experience, unfortunately we had other plans, so we did not go. I highly recommend you to stay at the hostel! 🥳

Solo female stayed in a dorm. Facilities were average and not very clean but very cheap price so you get what you pay for. Abu and staff are lovely but don’t be afraid to say no as I noticed them being very pushy to younger female travellers. Food is good and rooftop is a great place to sit, good location. I got told they would give me change later when I paid and they never gave change. Would recommend to budget travellers only

Stayed with friends in the suite room which is big in size and the washroom size is also good. It was a good deal in 3000/ night for all four of us without breakfast. The terrace view is very good. For breakfast, you can visit gopa chowk which is filled with eateries and dosa corner. Famous dal pakwan thela at gopa chowk and fateh ki famous kachori. Nearby is goverment authorised bhang shop also. Suggestion : Keep hand towels also and fix toilitries keeping tray near bathing area . We rented Activa at 400/ day but do check it properly before renting it out as they give you bad condition Activa as well.

Not recommended at all: (Business and Family Users, stay away from this place) 1) No Invoice provided even we ask them multiple times before starting the trip 2) Out of 2 Jeeps, 1 jeep was not available on scheduled time due which we had to start trip by accommodating all in 1 vehicle which was very difficult and risky too 3) We asked them for Innova for 2 days and told them prior that we will visit places based on our interest and time availability. As the car is booked for 2 days (600 kms), there should be no restriction where we want to go in Jaisalmer *When we reached to Jaisalmer and told driver we will visit Indo-Pak border (which was already informed), they started arguing us that it is not included and will be paid extra *what is the meaning of paying for car for 2 days if we need to pay extra? even though we told them there should be no restriction 4) On the checkout day, the guy on reception went somewhere, and no authorized person was available there to speak, as they knew that we will ask them for Invoice and refund for jeep 5) No refund was given for cancelled jeep, this is their fault because they were accommodating jeep from different place which delayed the whole trip just for sake of some money they wanted to save 6) The whole trip was messed up because of their behaviour and arguments on each point after payment was done

Hotel is very clean and calm . Hotel staff is very helpful. It’s near from Jaisalmer fort. I felt very comfortable in this room. Hotel has swimming pool and rooftop restaurant . Hotel has also desert safari plans for visiting desert. It’s nice to stay in Jaisalmer
