더 카필라 데저트 캠프(The Kafila Desert Camp)

Charming colonial decor inside the tents, super friendly staff, lovely cultural show (though at 2+ hours, it was quite long) and excellent local food. (Not a lot of options for alcoholic drinks, though.) While the desert dunes are limited to one small area, it makes for fabulous photos and with tea served and local musicians playing it was quite a memorable experience. (Otherwise Jaisalmer might be a tad bit overrated.) Chatting with the super friendly and informative owner was quite a highlight too. Only minor criticism was some generator (or truck?) noise at night plus rude neighbours who chatted loudly from 5am.

I did a booking on 13th Dec for 27th Dec stay regarding the booking for 19k for 2 adults and 2 kids and transferred 9.5k on 13th Dec and post which due to Covid Situation i had to cancel the booking and spoke to Jaswant & Hi***shu they never returned my hard earned money. Inspite of cancelled 10 days in advance .

It’s beautiful place hospitality was outstanding all food is prepared fresh nice and clean, in tent is all facilities out standing also nigh time musicians was very good too . I will definitely recommend anyone 👌😊 please do comes and visit this place camel 🐪 ride Was beautiful watching sun rise as riding on camel so nice after ride had tea and coffee with biscuits 🍪 which was good 👍

The most beautiful hotel I have ever visited. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Staff is very kind and considerate. Had an amazing experience. Would love to visit again! The sky at night is amazing.......never seen so clean and starry night !

We recently visited the Kafila desert camp for a day with family and the stay was an awesome experience here . The staffs were very friendly . They started with a camel Safari with hi tea at the sand dunes while viewing the beautiful sunset and while returning back there were arrangements of the cultural activities of local people meanwhile serving us awesome starters side by side .. The food was very delicious and my kids enjoyed every bit of the place .. While checking out they even gifted a Rajasthani toy which was again a nice gesture .. Awesome start to the New year .Would highly recommend for this experience ..

The property is excellent. We enjoyed staying in the Tent. All the arrangements were awesome. The staff is very well cultured and polite. Got to taste authentic Rajasthani food which was very tasty and hygienic. They ***aged the Camel ride and cultural event very well. Enjoy staying at Kafila Desert Camp.

The camp was an absolute treat for our quest of desert experience! We felt safe! The hospitality was the most welcoming and truly appreciative! Mool Singh Bhaiya ***** with Deepika and Angel were very nice and made our day more special by arranging a small celebration with cake, candle, folk dancers and musicians! They all gave us the rich experience! The jeep drive to the sand dunes for the camel ride (Mogat Sahib helped us gracefully to have a pleasant camel ride). The snacks served during cultural event, the traditional Rajasthani dinner and breakfast were delicious and very attractive! The tent stay was luxurious and comfortable! Thanks for the pleasant experience!! The tea served in the sand dunes with musicians there was delightful and memorable too!

am a frequent travelller, and during my journey and stay I get to meet lot of people , know about their culture, food , local treasures and ofcourse the hospitality of the staff In hotels. staying in Kafila Deset camp has been "the best" experience so far. Jaisalmer is all about meh***nawazi and Kafila lives up to it. The ambience of the place was out of the world, the tents were huge with all comfort, the cultural program every evening was great , service was top notch and the food was the best I have eaten so far in any place. The staff goes out of the way to ensure your comfort. Deva , moolsingh, kundan, Ibrahim, Madhav, Chef Rajesh made sure we had the best time. also want to thank Dipika for making out stay very comfortable and above all Paramjeet for taking care of us from the time we walked in to check out. He has definitely raised the bar in the hospitality industry. Thank you Kafila and team for giving me one of the best experiences. I would strongly recommend eveyone to stay in Kafila atleast once in ur life time. This is not to be missed at all and you will thank me .
