수리야 빌라(Suryaa Villa Jaipur - A Boutique Heritage Haveli)

First, I’ve been staying at this hotel since 2014 and it is traditionally my home away from home. I love the vibe of Surya Villa, the neighborhood, and being away from the old city. It’s always been a very relaxing space where I come to spend weeks at a time when in Jaipur. In my most recent trips, I did find that some problems arose in some of the older rooms. Previously they had issues with hot water due to construction or even water in general. This trip, however, the ***ager Oumar upgraded my room to a newer room and it was much improved. The bathroom in the new rooms are big and beautiful and the room itself was large and very comfortable. There are great new restaurants and pastry shops that opened up right next to the hotel which are amazing and should certainly be tried. The roof lounge is a fantastic place to read or watch the sun set. There are so ***y wonderful things going for this hotel and,yet, it is still very responsibly priced. Again, my only complaint continues to be ongoing construction. I understand that this is their slow season so construction is usually done during this time but it can be bothersome in the morning if you don’t have earplugs. That said, most people are out when they visit Jaipur and would never know this was happening during the day. I just happen to work from home and found this a tad annoying. I continue to strongly recommend Surya Villa because it is a home away from home and a beautiful oasis in a busy city. Recommendation would be to get one of the newer rooms if possible. I know I will continue coming back here and thanks to Oumar and the staff for being so helpful and attentive.

Surya villa is always my fevourite place to stay in jaipur,it is like a home away from home, owners dhananjay and tareeni are always so kind,they ask the guest about everything,how was our cleaning,room service,food,staff everything,the staff at the property are cooperative and friendly,very beautiful hotel in a great location,room was lovely,food was delicious,

Had a great experience on a visit to this beautiful home. We where made to feel very welcome from the start. The cooking demonstration was 1st class followed by a beautiful meal that was all freshly cooked. Would highly recommend a visit to meet the lovely owners of this home.

A beautiful place, tranquil from the hustle and bustle. Kindly organised a taxi from the train station and Yogi helped us with a tour to Agra Fort. Breakfast was really good, we chose to have tea and cake at the bakery on the same street plus dinner at the Landsend restaurant which were lovely options. The room was very clean and the bathroom very good. I would return here.

Our stay at Suryaa Villa was a memorable one. This was our first trip to Jaipur. The property is located well within the city with several landmarks located within a short driving distance: Albert Hall museum being one of them. Although we booked last minute, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, friendly staff and the cozy feeling when we got back from a long day in the bustling pink city. Breakfast buffet had a healthy mix of western and indian dishes: poha, muffins,cereal , eggs, ****tha etc. We ended up having dinner one night : it was delicious! The rooftop garden is the highlight : it's a nice place start/end your day with coffee/tea/beer and plenty of sunlight ✨️or moonlight 🌙. I would definitely recommend this place!. And one more thing- the room pricing was very affordable and worth it.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The staff were really friendly and accommodating, always checking everything was ok, ensuring we had everything we needed and also helpfully organising a driver to take us out for the day. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated, the whole hotel was decorated really well. The food was good and reasonably priced, and nothing was too much for the kitchen staff. The location was the only down side, however it wasn’t much of an issue as to get to the Old City it was around 100-150 rupees (£1-£1.50). There are two nice restaurant/bars extremely close to the hotel so this made up for the distance to the main attractions. I would definitely recommend staying here for your visit to Jaipur.

I was staying at a real Indian palace. Very lovely staff. Helpful. Attentive. Clean rooms. AC functions as it should. Spacious bathroom. Bed is comfortable. Wi-Fi good. Beautiful balconies. Receptionist is the best.

Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Umar, the reception/day ***ager was fantastic and created a two-day itinerary with the must-see sights in and around Jaipur. He then put us in touch with Yogi, who took us around in his tuk tuk and stayed with us all day while we visited those nearby forts and palaces. We also enjoyed the evening Jeep Safari which took us on a two-hour tour of the notable buildings and sites in Jaipur with the benefit of seeing the city lit up for the night. The pool was lovely and the breakfast and food was good, supported by a great team. I would usually have scored this hotel with five stars but I have deducted on point due to the fact that we were bumped to a nearby home-stay apparently for some urgent maintenance but more likely due to overbooking. This created a little disruption as we had to pack our cases etc to move between the hotel and the homestay. However, Umar and the team did their very best to minimise the inconvenience. I would come here again. Jaipur is an interesting city and very easy to get around with the tuk tuk. I would choose to stay at the Suryaa again, without any hesitation.

Suryaa Villa was beautiful, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff so helpful and the food delicious. What more can you ask for. There is an indoor pool, which was lovely. Would definitely recommend
