Front desk staff was very kind. Facility just wasn't as clean as I would have liked. No liquor license (not stated online), bar is advertised as open.

For the name and location, I was expecting better. My wife and two kids traveled with me. I booked a king suite; no linen was available for the couch bed for the kids or extra wash clothes. The room overall was decent.

The hotel seems as if it’s on its last leg. No spirits at the bar. (Bartenders were really sweet) and we got locked out of our room SEVERAL times. When we would go out and come back in, our key would not be working. This happened 4 times!!! They kept re keying our room. Then to make matters worse, the last time it happened, I went to. The room and back 3 times. Each time I had to go back down and let her know it didn’t work! Finally, she said she would have to change our room. But ma’am, our stuff is stuck in the old room. Basically they had to get security after an hour to let us in the old room casing us to miss our anniversary dinner reservation. I was so disappointed. No one knew what to do. I was very upset and feel like we were highly inconvenienced to have to change rooms. I feel like I should be refunded! I will not stay here again.

Room lights didn't work, shower door was missing the handle, bathroom smelled like they poured bleach everywhere, no parking so you're forced to use valet, and they charged me an extra $45 to my card and no explanation why.

We checked in on Friday night. We carried all of our things to our room. When we get there, someone else is in the room. We go back downstairs, and even though our name is in the computer, they said because we used *******, we double booked. I explained to them that I booked the room over a month ago, and that I called to confirm the reservation. We were told there was no other room available. We found out there was a couple of other people having this same issue. It was late at night. We were hungry, tired and the only reason I booked this hotel was due to the indoor swimming pool, which of course we were unable to use. The only good thing is that the woman helping us, booked us another room at a different hotel using her discount. We have to stay in hotels about once a month for the next few months for my granddaughter’s cheer competitions and now I am reluctant to book with Hilton.

Our room was dirty. We requested to have it cleaned and they told us we would need to request it a day early. Which how could we when it was dirty when we got there. Asked for more towels and they never brought us any. They wouldnt empty our garbage cans

The hotel was fine but the surrounding area is abandoned! This was just a stopover from Memphis to New Orleans, I now wish I’d have carried on driving straight to New Orleans. If you do have to stay, there’s a good BBQ restaurant within 100yards called the Iron Horse, but it closes at 3.00pm 😂

Loved the historical facets of the property and the overall condition of the older building. It was quite impressive. Would have been nice to have at least a Continental Breakfast included. Didn't like that I had to switch rooms in order to get a clean room.

I want to first say Tia E provided me with an excellent welcome and check-in experience. Greeted me with a welcoming smile. The room upgrade was an added bonus. This experience and room made change my stays from the Westin to The Kind Edward, when I come back, I will always want room 722. This my favorite room thus far. Kudos to the King Edward and Tia E. My only complaints: 1. Check room 722 door, when you leave or enter the room you have to double check and ensure that the door was closed. Thanks to the Security guard who knocked on my door to ensure that I had closed the securely. Great guy and much appreciated. I ensured I checked the door wa secure each time I left the room. 2. I had to use key card often during the day. This could because of location. But at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, I felt it unnecessary to use my key card to enter the hotel. But overall, this was a great experience. I will be back again.
