리틀 소피아 호텔(Little Sofia Hotel)

It was a really lovely small bed and breakfast. We found our room to be clean. It is a handy area in the old part of Istanbul, which means it is surrounded by authentic restaurants serving good food. Every morning, we had substantial breakfasts in the terrace, which had a view of the sea. Staff were friendly and courteous throughout. It doesn't market itself as 5 star luxury but what it lacks in all the bells and whistles in makes up for in character and charm. If you want reasonable, clean, family run accommodation this is for you. There is no lift so if stairs are a problem then maybe negotiate the bottom bedroom.

The Little Sofia Hotel is ideal for families and couples who want to explore Istanbul's historic district. The family who owns the hotel are genuine and do speak and understand English as well as words in other languages. Our service was excellent from when we arrived to when we left. The owner's nephew stayed with us until our car service arrived and made sure we were well taken care of. He even helped with our bags and luggage. Our room featured a double bed, a chair, a bathroom, a closet, and a mini fridge. There was also a television but we never turned it on during on stay. Furthermore, our room had a small door that opened to the balcony with a stunning view of a local mosque. We had access to additional toilet paper and water each day. The family provides breakfast weather permitting on the roof top terrace or if the weather is not good, next door at their cafe. You'll receive a master key that opens the hotel as well as the room key. We always felt welcomed and safe during our stay at Little Sofia Hotel. The location is outstanding as it is about 10-minute walk to the park that has the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia as well as the Column of Constantine and the Obelisk of Theodosius While it is true the walk has a steep incline but all the hotels in this area will have the same steep incline. Be sure to wear very good and comfortable shoes when visiting Istanbul in general. In summary, there are a lot of hotels in the historical district but it's the service and genuineness that puts Little Sofia at the top of our list. We will look forward to our next stay with them when we come back to Istanbul.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this little hotel and restaurant. From the moment I went in, they made me feel like family. The food was delicious and the service was great. Turkish hospitality at its best!!

Super hôtel! Douche chaude, chambre très propre et condortable, hôtel bien placé à 5 min de la mosquée bleu et le propriétaire est vraiment adorable! Il nous a aidé pour tout, merci Apo! Nous y sommes retournés deux fois en deux semaines! La terrasse est un plus très agréable!

Просто ужас!!! Ремонт на террасе,плесень в коридоре, номер грязный,везде волосы, белье конкретно грязное,полотенца жёлтые,в ванной использованные шампуни...персонал(один парень) на встречу не идёт,говорит живите так,деньги не вернём!!! До сих пор ждём,хотя сразу ушли в другой отель!!!! Просто очень отвратительно!!!!

Nos alojamos en este hotel porque su ubicación es excepcional, a pocos minutos caminando de Santa Sofía. Es acogedor, limpio y el personal te atiende maravillosamente. El hotel tiene en frente una pequeña mezquita que pudimos visitar. Los desayunos son sencillos y se sirven, si el tiempo lo permite, en la terraza de la azotea, que tiene unas vistas fabulosas. Lo recomendamos totalmente.
