Excellent location very close to sultan ahmet mosque and aya sophia tram station is also very close it's a very quiet hôtel and the breakfast was good too.the room was very clean the towels were changed daily.

I selected with airport transfer at trip.com. Once arrive the hotel said I need to pay extra. Its unusual what I have experience with trip.com when I visited other countries. The rest of service are all ok

Great location and small, well-kept rooms. Breakfast was basic but good. Really great value for money.

Hotel was nice. In the perfect location. However the rooms are really really small. Breakfast options are very limited and they hover over you whilst you eat which really put me off. Other than that it’s very clean and they provide a good service very helpful.

Great location. Arrived early hours of the morning and put in room 101. Bathroom has an odd odour. On awakening at 5 due to noise from the kitchen next door followed by noise from above which is the dining room we requested a move to another room. This was agreed for €20 per night. I was happy with this. Staff at breakfast were lovely. They made an omelette for me. I thought choice was simple but good. No full English here. Showers were excellent and clean towels every day. By far the best thing was location but you will hear the calls to prayer.

Basic hotel , very dated , location excellent for historic sites particularly the blue mosque, breakfast ok . Walls and doors very thin therefore noise travels through hotel , also get noise from street . Part of our party given the room literally in reception therefore very noisy from the lift, arrivals and breakfast prep !

Amazing Hotel, everything about it was great especially the staff. Location is very ideal as it is near all the main places of istanbul for eg bazaars, mosques. Breakfast had really good variety and taste.

I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are small and very basic, their was a distinct lack of hot water. The reception and dining area are very dated. On the positives, the location is very convenient for visiting the historical parts of Istanbul and the breakfast was reasonable.

Cosy Comfortable Neat n clean The place for a budget family travel Location is awesome Staff is friendly and helpful Major attractions and the metro stations are in vicinity I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again

To anyone who is planning on staying at Sultan House Hotel. Totally do not recommend it was the worst headache and was very dirty. If I had the open of putting a score out of 5 it will be -5. Originally we made the booking 2 rooms next to each other. When we arrived it was levels 1 and 4. Being separate from the family was not an option so we asked for 2 rooms next to each other (like we organised before). The hotel is very cheeky the receptionist said we have a house across from which will be suitable. Mine you it’s not a registered hotel, no security and very dodgy. So due to this, they said there are 2 rooms on floor 1. The receptionist said that they will pay the difference as we are going to a lower floor. They are very aware of how to play tricks. We agreed. Floor 1 is actually a basement floor, very dirty and the worst experience, you could hear everything noise can’t sleep at night, no fresh air. Because of the room and the atmosphere, my mum got very sick so we had to get a flight home. We asked the receptionist (who was different) and said that they promised to pay the difference in the room. He disagreed and didn’t give any refund. The agency was trying but says the fault is at the hotel. Instead of getting our promised money back they also charged for transportation which we were told was going to be deducted. Note; pray mat in room 102 had blood stains, 101 had different stains on the wall (which seemed like blood), and the sheets and bead cover had stains (blood) that were very dirty. And you could hear every noise was awakened multiple times during the night even had a huge scare and jumped from the bed. We are fluent in Turkish and that did not help. My advice is that if you do not speak Turkish and you’re an international traveler do not go to this hotel. Waste of your money. Waste of headache. Due to this have to worst phobia of traveling and even hearing the word Istanbul causes disgust. IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE IN ISTANBUL DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families. It’s more suitable for friends or a group of lads. The rooms are tiny, we were placed in a room in the basement which was next to the kitchen. We could hear the kitchen sounds and even smell onions from our hotel room. This was not nice at all. The lift is extremely small would only fit maximum 2 average sized people. The rooms are very cramped and tiny. There is no housekeeping or anyone to clean. You have to do it all yourself. The pillows are very hard. The floor is quite dusty. There is only one bin and that was in the toilet… There is an extreme lack of space, that you feel claustrophobic. The breakfast is very limited and doesn’t change at all. It’s the same breakfast given everyday. 99% of the breakfast is just salad… like cucumbers and cheese. Not much in it. Only pro’s about this hotel is good wifi and close to everything in terms of sight seeing. But I wouldn’t visit again, especially with family.
