Location was just near my work and meeting. And hotel was asking expected Good !

Very best location Near metro and istiklal street Breakfast was good

It is not my first time to this hotel , I have stayed in it more than 4 times in the last 10 years. What was surprising to me that the staff did not change and they are still the same. Especially Hussein the man, his smile is very beautiful he will welcome you and make sure that everything is okay. And the receptionist are very professional and friendly. The internet speed become much faster than the past and the breakfast is very decent. The best in the hotel it is literally beside the taksim metrostation like literally 2 minutes walking. And the hotel is not noisy at all. The only problem is faced that there are some rooms under maintenance as they are rebranding but to be honest this was not an obstacle because the workers were very quite and had restricted hours. But overall, I would keep recommending this hotel always and whenever i get back to istanbul i will always stay in it.

I like the staff of this hotel very much. Each one is polite, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast is quite good in quality and variety. My room large and comfortable. Its location so close to Taksim and Istiklal St. is a great convenience.

Worse hotel I ever stayed in , and I have stayed in quite a few in my life. Shows as a 4 star but really deserves a 2 star (and I am being generous). First let me say that the location is excellent as it is at Taksim square. The pros end here and this is the long list of cons : - grumpy and rude staff at the front desk - our shower drain was not functioning and many attempts were made to remedy the problem with no solution. Front desk even lied, saying the plumber had passed by and fixed it (lier). Even spoke to the general manager who swore it would get fixed but didn’t. We stayed 7 nights in this hotel which we had pre-payed (or else we would have left), showering in 5 cm of drain water (room 509) - found a shewing gum in the dessert plate at breakfast. When pointed this out to the breakfast manager, he got an employee to come and pick up the gum from the plate ….. NOT removing the plate, NOT changing the food, just kept the same desserts , even the ones that had previously touched the gum - breakfast manager grumpy …. Except for the last day at checking out. Very helpful, asked if we wanted more coffee, etc… all to get a TIP that he didn’t deserve. Of course we didn’t eat anything else at this breakfast following the gym incident which happened in day 2 of our 8 day stay. - room dated and dirty. Toilet was still dirty when we checked in. Had a pistachio shell next to night stand (stayed there for days). Out of characters to continue . DO NOT STAY HERE

They showed us other rooms at the beginning of our stay to swap but if you can imagine, room 509 was the best as the rest were way worse. One room had such a stench of cigarettes that even the guy showing us the room stoped us from entering. Who smokes in hotels these days ? And which hotel allows it ????? - personnel cannot speak English except for very few clerks. - room at times smelled like sewer and other times like fish (not a good smell). - safe was not working and had to be swapped completely - I am going to stop here, I think you got the point …. DO NOT STAY HERE !!!!!!

We had room for tow times here in last year it was good.but this time unfortunately it was awful,espetialy reception,they are not polite...!!!I will never book this hotel again.now I'm in hotel but we don't have basic rights.you can'tbe comfort and nobody cares about that.
