산트라 호텔(Santra Hotel)

I am staying in this hotel these days, I highly recommend it. First of all the reception are really helpful and kind. They speak English, they offer us a room look directly to the mosque of aksaray .. The room is quite good, clean, tidy and comfortable. They afford open buffet on breakfast. Transport means are really near to the entrance of hotel. Secure 24/24, WiFi is available as well.

Staff understand very limited English. Not very much like a hotel. Very tiny rooms with limited mobility. Not worthy the price at lot.

Une nuit passée à l'hôtel. Très bruyant, la fenêtre était cassée, la porte a la douche aussi, le sèche-cheveux ne marchait pas. Le pire - à l'heure du départ, on a trouvé les artisans qui ont été en train de remplacer la fenêtre, ils n'ont pas même attendu notre départ.

J’ai été très déçue les personnels n’étaient pas accueillant ils ont fait 7 jours sans changer les draps

Le séjour a été relativement bon. L'hôtel de trouve à quelques mètres de la station métro et permet un déplacement facile.

Newly remodeled, very clean, excellent customer service. Comfy mattresses. Will come back.

My family and I stayed there from last July to mid of August 2022. It was our first visit to Turkey and we did not regret it. The location is a little far from the center of Istanbul (Istiqlal Street) but it is in a very lively area with retail markets around it. The building is small but newly remodeled. The crew is very friendly. We arrived very early and they provided us with one room free of charge till they prepare our rooms later. They provided us with water, too. We got 2 cozy rooms and they were just what we needed very comfortable and neat. Housekeeping was on demand at any time. Although the hotel is on the main road; the walls are noise-proof you wouldn't hear any noise. The owner and his son are very nice but Mr. Vusal is the best. He is so willing to help and cooperative. He makes everything easy for you from the service you need from the hotel to any information about Istanbul. When we decided to extend our visit to Istanbul I didn't hesitate once to extend my stay in this hotel although it is a little far from most of the attractions in the Taxim area and around, it was worth it. I am definitely going to stay there again and strongly recommend it to others. DIS: The elevator is small and during the rush time you may wait for it longer. The area is very crowd and might not be suitable for everyone but is full of live. The area is the other side of the city away from most of the attraction areas (it was fine for us b/c we looking for a place to feel comfortable with especially since our visit was in the peak tourist season)

Staff / people are very nice, I wish there was more English speaking people, but it was fun experience

One day my friend and I came back to our room and we found out that our razor was on the toilet floor. It was broken into two pieces and this must have been an accident during room cleaning. My friend went to ask the receptionist and the cleaner but they did not admit it. The cleaning lady was nervous and she kept saying she did not see the razor. If she was the one who cleaned our room, then who dropped the razor in the toilet and why the razor head was near the sink but the rest of it was next to the toilet?? Very disappointing.
