This hostel is the worst pace I've ever visited when travelling abroad.Those people don't respect privacy and pretend to be friendly start asking too much how are you.I know it's your work but plz don't bother my personal time when I'm alone,I have friends and I don't know you,it's not ok to ask me how's your day going. I feel it's ok to ask once but multiple times it's kind of passing the line. Plus I booked the hostel at the beginning is with boys and girls.I'm literally not interested in girls and I don't talk to them,then the receptionist tells me my past roommate called me unfriendly. I Just Don't wanna talk to U. I am friendly to handsome boys got no time to strangers And plus in my country people clean the table after customers eating in public restaurant.And Turkish people don't,for same price they have the worst room than other countries and with no attitude of service. You make money from foreigners and give everything higher than it worths and then have a bad attitude. I can have a better hostel in Moscow in same price and it's way more better than Istanbul. Plus they transfer me fake money then told me it's my problem.I got all my cashes from airport,the hotel just want to scam me.I should call the police. They are really fake persons pretend to be nice and scam u in the end One old fat receptionist tells me to leave only becuz he cleaned my table once(cuz I didn't know you should clean yourself after eating becuz in other countries also in my country after customers eat,they're people to clean it) But once he told me I did it He was so mean to me Plz don't book this hostel.If u don't want morans cuz problems,live alone and spend time with people you want,not random demanding strangers

What an amazing hostel experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Fathi, Şakir and Can were ready to help with every possible need I had, even after I was finished with my stay at cheers they were willing to help with anything! Great pub crawl parties, clean room and safe environment. The location is unbeatable as you are in the heart of old Istanbul. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to meet good people.

I had the most amazing time staying at cheers. They were extremely accommodating and the staff were incredible. They brought a great atmosphere to the hostel and were genuinely great people. I was originally only going to stay in Istanbul for two night but enjoyed my time there so much I extended my trip. They events held by cheers were great fun and got everyone at the hostel involved. The rooms were great and really spacious, and the breakfast in the morning was amazing.

If you're looking for somewhere central, close to everything, with comfy bed, clean amenities, great staff, a bar, really healthy breakfast from the two wonderful ladies in the kitchen, and a very friendly resident golden retriever, then honestly, look no further. I can't fault CHEERS at all. It was just a positive experience from start to finish.

This hostel has been the best I’ve ever stayed in as a solo traveller. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful with information, and went out of their way to make you happy or try for a laugh. They had the best social events going on all the time too so it was really easy meeting other travellers here! It was very clean, safe and in a really central location to all of the main attractions. I loved it here so much that I kept extending my time to stay and didn’t want to leave! Thank you so much to all of the workers there, you made my time in Istanbul amazing and I will definitely come back to stay at Cheers again!

15 euros/night for dorm room 33 euros/night for private room The price is cheaper if you book online Animals around, maybe also in the dorms Bar for customers. Nice vibe. Young people and international atmosphere. I could not check the Wi-Fi.

We spent two nights here as a family of 5 and we had two rooms in the cheers prive block across the street from the main hostel. The accommodation was very clean, had comfortable beds and air con. Location is great for being close to main attractions such as hagia Sofia and it's worth climbing up to the top floor hot bar to see it from the window. Breakfast includes tea/coffee, bread, cheese, salad, tomatoes, cucumber, olives, boiled eggs and jam/ Nutella/ butter and was lovely. We arranged a walking tour through the hostel for 15euro per person plus (optional ) 10euro for the underground basilica and we also arranged our airport transfer through them too. We had booked our own coach transfer to our next destination but hostel staff helped with this and booked us a taxi to the bus station. Kids loved (loved!!!!) Zaman the hostel dog. All the staff were helpful and friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this place.

We didn’t stay here, our accom next door didn’t serve meals so we popped in here on our first nite. Great bar upstairs, was able to order food in and have very resonantly priced drinks. Also organised to get Turkish sims for our phones and get them put in…..wonderful service. Can’t remember the guys name but everyone at Cheers were really helpful….he also gave us tips on what to see when we returned to Istanbul after travelling around
