It's in a great location, near to Sishane metro station and Beyoglu funicular station, and lots of shops and eateries. Only problem is that it's almost impossible to find as there isn't any signboard at the entrance. Even the shop owner of the shop right next door (La Fa Muzik) didn't know of the existence of "Hug Galata". It was only when someone helped us to call the phone number on the booking confirmation slip that we were able to find the door and were given the code to unlock it. Then to our horror we saw the narrow spiral stairs that we had to climb up with all our luggage! We were told to take the apartment on the 3rd floor but we asked for the one on the 1st floor as I had injured my knee earlier. Thankfully it wasn't occupied so we only had to climb 1 level up. The apartment is small but comfortable. However, it was lacking in shelves and hooks especially in the shower where there's nowhere to hang clothes and towel or even to place toiletries. There's also no handle on the inside of the toilet sliding door so it was tricky to open it each time. There wasn't any VIP service, we had to ask questions via WhatsApp throughout our stay. When the shampoo ran out and we asked for more, someone brought a plastic bag and hung it on the door but it was filled with shower gel instead of shampoo. The water boiler is noisy so we turned it off at night. Also be prepared for the noise from the nightlife downstairs, something you'd have to bear with for the sake of the convenient location.

The service was very nice. I came late at night and it was not easy to find location by taxi. When I called them to ask the service come out and help me to care the luggage as well . The room been clean and very comfortable. They been response right away about all my questions when I asked too. So thank you very much .

The apartments is rather good. Not amazing, but not bad. It’s just good. It was clean, warm, always hot water. But if you hope that this apartment is equipped of all necessary for cooking - that’s not true. That just simple hotel room. There also was low shower gel. And some problems with water draining. And other little sings which need to be fixed. But you should chose it just because the location! Location is wonderful and enchanting! If you wanna stay at the very city centre - that is the best. The main Istiklal street, old historical town, Galata tower, it is all in one minute. But it still on the rather quiet street. Without loud music, clubs or restaurant. And it also just one minute to the metro station, and tunnel, which made your visiting Istanbul very comfortable. The personnel is adorable too. For that price this is the best variant!

The room is clean. The staff member is very kind and helpful. He helped me carry my big luggage up to stairs to the room on 4 th floor. Location is the best .
