Delicious Sunday lunch, lovely selection of vegetables. Jake, who looked after us at our table, was polite and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. He is a credit to the hotel. Lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend. Will be back soon. From Maxine

My partner and I have just had a wonderful two nights at the Seaview Hotel. In sumary, a wonderful boutique hotel, with lovely and very comfortable accommodation, an excellent restaurant and bar and a superb location near the sea. We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely team that worked there. Special mention to Brenda for serving our breakfast on both mornings with a huge smile and bags of personality!! We hope to come back soon. Thank you team Seaview!

One-night stay which was excellent. Room comfortable, clean and very well laid out and furnished. Bathroom modern, clean and also very good. Ground floor has a guest lounge, the main restaurant, a bistro restaurant (where breakfast is served) and a tap room bar - all very pleasant. Food to a very high standard, service very friendly and overall, it was far ahead of what we could have expected.

We stayed here as a family for 5 nights and had a wonderful time. The rooms were really lovely with sea views - clean, spacious, comfy beds, and well-equipped. We all felt it should be more than 3* as was so lovely. There was a spacious lounge and lovely bar. The restaurants were fantastic and the breakfasts were incredible. Car parking was a bit of a squeeze but managed it - those in larger cars struggled. The top floor 2 rooms (16&15) were perfect, the middle floor room (2) was nice but suffered a bit from the smell of the kitchen & cigarettes from staff smoking below the bathroom window. Staff generally were beyond kind and helpful, nothing was too much for them - the reception team were very accommodating of our questions and provided extra soft pillows on request which we were so grateful for. In particular Philippa at breakfast and Rocio behind the bar were utterly divine. The vibe of this hotel was so lovely, you could not beat it. Highly recommended.

We had a 5 day stay. The hotel has customer service that the UK once had years ago. Simply outstanding. The food amd presentation out of this world. The room very comfortable with a super seaview. Mark (the GM) and his team can't do enough to ensure a pleasant stay. We are certainly returning in 2025. Thanks again for such warmth and friendliness. The black pudding guys!

Another lovely visit to this hotel with my wife and ageed aunt, who lives locally in St Helens. The pork tenderloin was delicious as was the most perfect pie my wife had had in years. Service was a little out of season, but the ambiance and wine were not. Thank you.
