Beautiful resort with a great outdoor pool!

Check in super easy.  Nice resort.

Pool so warm, not have beach , you can’t swimming in ocean here, you can eat here-no cafe

The room was very dirty when we arrived. The location and view from the room was amazing. The pool was great except it had black spots all over, which looked like black mold. There were also metal brush bristles from the staff cleaning the pool, on the bottom of the pool and a few people were cut while swimming. The pool attendant told us that the amenities were closed because of the wind being over 10 knots, including the Rum Runner, which wasn’t and shouldn’t have been the case. We later saw the rum runner dropping people off. We were very upset because we were looking forward to going on it one last time before the end of our trip. We lost a full day of using the paddle boards and kayaks and the Rum Runner. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we talked to them about our issues.

The resort is lovely and what you see in the photos online is what you get. Unfortunately the stench of the sargasso sea **** was at an all time high and it was so overwhelming we had to cut our stay short. The sandy beach depicted in the photos is more of a concrete slab with sand and pebbles. Nothing a kid can play in.

We stayed 4 nights. After 2 nights, We asked to have our room cleaned the next day. They never came in to clean it. The property is overpriced for the cleanliness and service offered.

The reviews about the maintenance of the property are totally accurate. Take them seriously. Refrigerator was hanging out of the cabinet and didn't work after bought food we needed to keep fresh for early fishing trip the next morning. The phone didn't work to call reception to get help so had to walk down 3 times to try to get it dealt with. Both TVs were lacking cable connections so we couldn't watch anything. I did not research well enough to know the pool bar didn't have a full liquor license. The cocktails that they try to make weren't good. We were so dissatisfied we checked out early and went to a different hotel.

We’ve stayed here every year during May or June as part of a family tradition for the past 15 years since the last hotel was sold to build homes. It’s in a great location Oceanside close to many restaurants, stores and places to visit. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room is clean and spacious, the grounds are kept clean. This trip the pool had what appeared to be some sort of black algae attached to the surfaces.
