솔 라 팔마 호텔(Sol la Palma)

Have just arrived home , we had a lovely time the hotel, food, and staff are good, food a bit samey, but on the whole ok...the only thing i would suggest is, spend a bit more money on the evening entertainment. After the children had been entertaind, which was really good!!, i think that the holiday makers would be tempted to stay back at the hotel instead of going elsewhere. But to be fair we had a lovely time and would return.

Ruben and he team in this hotel made us feel very welcome and did everything possible to make our holiday one to remember xx This hotel has.a modern vibe and everything you could hope for from a hotel that cares. We felt safe and cared for and it was super clean too. The hotel was amazing and the pool area and DJ were absolutely brilliant . The Food was gorgeous and a had huge variety too. Rooms beautiful and views stunning. We’ve been to Lanzarote and now Sol Melia in La Palma and because of this we’ve booked Fuerteventura Sol Melia too. Excellent hotels , thank you

What a disgrace. Evacuated from the hotel after one night and not a single thing about a refund from *******. WHAT A SCAM!

From the very first minute of our arrival to the hotel we were made to feel welcome. Around twenty people arrived at a time and there was quite a big crowd at the reception but everyone was given a cool drink and a big smile and the receptionists did their best to go through the procedures as fast as they could. We booked a room with a see view, and the description said that we could either have a room with a balcony or a terrace. Ours was with a balcony and because of other balconies popping out on both sides, we only had a patch of the see view. However, it was big enough to enjoy the view of the palms against the backdrop of the aquamarine and hear the sound of the waves. Moreover, other balconies gave the shadow so that your room is not under the scorching sun the whole day. The room itself was spacious and well designed, with a huge bed, built-in shelves, bedside tables, an armchair, a fridge. The bathroom was big with all the amenities you need - bidet, flexible and adjustable shower head, sink with stone counter top. Both the room and the bathroom were ideally clean; light colors and general design added to the feeling of lightness and freshness. The lack of the see view from the room was more than compensated by the view from the hotel restaurant where we had breakfasts and dinners. We were spoiled for food - the variety of meat, seafood, desserts and whatnot was overwhelming. We liked every dish we tried and there was hardly ever repetitions of hot dishes in those days we spent in the hotel. The restaurant staff was friendly, competent and helpful. I think I saw the manager of the hotel serving as a waiter which, to me, is the sign of true leadership and the desire to know your customers' needs. Sol La Palma hotel is isolated from the rest of Puerto Naos, but this is exactly what makes it so unique and so irresistibly magnificent. The pool visually "touches" the ocean; pool bar offers lots of comfortable places with beautiful views with.without a shadow; beach lovers can enjoy the ocean without having to walk long distance. The huge beach with black volcanic sand is just 250-500 meters' walk from the hotel along the wide paved promenade. This promenade leads to the local bars and beach clubs, and this promenade also offers a spectacular view of the hotel, the mountains, the sunsets and the stars in the night sky. Due to the absence of mass tourism on La Palma in general and the remoteness of the hotel from the capital city, you might get a false impression that this place is for retired people. Yes, there were many elderly visitors there, but there were also middle-aged people and young couples and everyone had a chance to engage in a variety of activities to their linking: chilling at a hotel/beach bar; getting a massage; doing aerobics in the pool; going on hikes to the waterfalls/national parks/volcanoes; taking trips to the banana plantations; paragliding. Hotel was very clean, and staff very nice. The only thing I did not like was paying for parking, it should be free for guests.

Great location, wonderful pools, right next to beach and restaurants.

Bien en líneas generales, escasas plazas de parking que hace imposible aparcar aunque quieras pagar.

Lo que más me gustó fueron las piscinas y el entorno y lo que menos que, en ocasiones, no había suficientes tumbonas en una de las piscinas y que el aparcamiento sea de pago.

Muy desagradable por el trato del personal tanto de recepcion como el del comedor
