맥도날드 피토드리 하우스(Macdonald Pittodrie House)

After receiving a voucher for the roasting board and all the trimmings we booked a table for today , very nice staff the starter we had was the salmon and was very nice well presented, the trimmings board came and same again well presented but sadly the food was look warm , and was cooling fast which made us rush,the food has to be said was really good, but for a 4 star hotel pathetic it wasn’t hot at the very least, as we were finally asked how it was we were perfectly honest and explained food was lovely but sadly cold. In fairness the lady knocked off our drinks and deserts(one was the sticky toffee pudding which was also cold), not a very good impression. As we left waitress said hopefully next time we are back hopefully hotel will do better, I am thinking to costly a gamble if it’s not.

I hosted a surprise dinner party for my husband’s ‘special’ birthday this weekend and all the staff I dealt with, from the initial planning to those working on the night were fantastic. We were offered the Library for a private dinner and everyone remarked on the excellent service, and delicious food and drink. We usually come to Pittodrie House to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries and always find it to be a wonderful luxury experience, can’t wait for the next one!

Took my wife here for a festive afternoon tea and it was wonderful. We could not fault the ambience, the service and the food. It was a very relaxing and quite romantic experience. The butternut squash soup was to die for. We would definitely recommend this.

We spent 3 nights at Pittodrie House hotel with our friends their dog and ours. We can't fault the friendliest of the staff, the fantastic food (two of our party were vegan and they had great choices from the chef). Our dogs were welcomed so much and we were made to feel relaxed at the hotel. The grounds are amazing and what makes it even better is the walk to Bennachie. We would definitely recommend a stay there. A big thank you to all the staff at Pittodrie from Jon, Mike, Alex , Kathy and Margot and Chive the dogs!

We had a magical experience getting married at Pittodire in July 2023. Andrew and the team at Pittodrie went above and beyond to make our day so special. They took the time to help us plan our day to the smallest details. The venue is absolutely stunning and the rooms were beautiful and clean. The food was incredible - especially the vegetarian menu

Wedding June 2023 We had a great experience on our wedding weekend. All staff really helpful and friendly. Made us feel at home, nothing was too much of a bother. We were looked after throughout the whole day to make sure our wedding went smoothly and very special. Every one enjoyed their stay and throughout the whole day all guests were well looked after. A great venue and charming hotel. A special mention to Andrew and Jill throughout the whole weekend and also for answering our many questions in the lead up to the wedding.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here Sept 2023 and loved the experience! The grounds around Pittodrie House are beautiful, it would be difficult to find a more scenic location for a wedding anywhere else, not too far from nearest town but feels as though you are away from everything. The Hotel oozes character inside and out- a warm, homely feeling from the moment you enter right through to the ballroom and accomodation. The planning for the wedding itself was very smooth and staff always helpful in answering any questions from the beginning right up until the day of wedding. On the wedding day itself, all staff went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly, from chefs to housekeeping and reception and waiting staff. A special mention to Andrew, Jill and Sarah for their help through the whole run up to wedding and on the Day itself. The food at the wedding was great, couldnt fault it at all and all guests enjoyed. All in all, would recommend a visit to Pittodrie House, whether it be for a meal, a night away and definately to choose it as a Wedding Venue, it excelled all my expectations! 😊

We used Pittodrie House as our wedding venue and had an excellent time there. The day ran very smoothly and the staff were all very helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and the food was great too We look forward to returning in the future.

We experienced Pittodrie House Hotel as guests at a wedding and the setting itself was beautiful and the staff were faultless. However how it operates as a wedding venue is not so good. In the first instance we waited in a chilly reception room before being told to make our way round the outside length of the building ,which was a challenge in places for some elderly guest with mobility issues, to the ballroom for the wedding service Luckily it was not raining as the whole wedding party would have been soaked. How do guests cope in the winter ? The weddng service/ ballroom venue we also exceedingly chilly throughout the service. I regretted not wearing my thermal vest under my dress! The meal and service by the staff was excellent I must add. Overall I continued to freeze during the reception which the ballroom again being very chilly. The cost of our drinks was mind blowingly expensive. You do anticipate that the cost of drinks will be higher in such venue { why baffles me] but the costs here are shocking I doubt if i will accept an invitation here ever again. Date of experience was Oct 2023 ....not the winter
