Sleeper sofa had cheetos and blood stains. Obviously not something they open and clean regularly. Tub had massive whole in tub covering (refurbished tub) which was dirty underneath. My son and his friend's room was supposed to be non smoking but had a strong smoking odor. There was also a desk chair with fabric covering on the seat that was severely stained in multiple places and just looked disgusting. Upon arrival, I knew we were about 90 minute early but like any other hotel, expected if the room was available they'd check us in. When I approached the desk, Michaela looked at me with no expression, didn't greet me, just said, 'Yeah?'. I said I was checking in and her reply in a nasty tone as if what I had just asked was absurd was, 'We don't have any rooms, not till 3 o'clock. Check in isn't till 3:00." Not, 'I'm sorry, we don't have any rooms available right now' or something gracious and empathetic. Really, really nasty and uncaring service. When I returned later to let them know we had to leave for our event and ask how late I can check, the manager was there and all of a sudden Michaela was a bit nicer and offered to do something to quasi check us in and let us pick up the keys when we return. Will NEVER stay here again or any other Extended Stay. They've obviously gone way downhill from what they used to be and to put it plainly, have become a fleabag hotel. Just awful. 'On the go' breakfast was packets of oatmeal and hot water.
