메디나 델 라고(Hotel Medina Del Lago)

We were visiting with family and stayed at this place for 4 nights. The facility is excellent. We actually got treated like family members here. Everyone went out of Their way to accommodate all our needs. The owner themselves paid a lot of attention to everything. We did a couple of days of hiking locally plus some mountain biking. The view from the hotel is just beautiful. The food was excellent. Rooms are neat and clean. Service was fast and excellent

Very beautiful mountain-side hotel. The view was amazing and they had horses that you could ride for a very reasonable price on a very scenic route. Would highly recommend if going to lago san pablo.

Amazing Hotel with a magnificent view from Lago San Pablo only 1.5 hours away from Quito

Beautiful hotel with a few hiccups: no hot water when we arrived, no water nor carafe in room. They were helpful and sorry for the inconveniences. Hot water was available after 2 hours and they supplied water when asked. Amazing views from everywhere in the hotel. The room was huge and the bed was extremely comfortable. Good breakfast with delicious fresh pressed juices. The worst was that it was the only hotel in our Ecuador vacation that did not refund/credit us the taxes as we are international travelers. I understand that we had already paid for the room, but other hotels in Ecuador that were paid for already offered us a credit to be used in the hotel. This was not suggested nor offered; we didn’t ask for it completely forgetting about it, until we arrived at our next stop and they offered/ explained it without us asking.

By far the best place to stay near Otavalo. The staff was so kind and were always willing to help me and my family. We rode horses around the hills and got to see an amazing view of San Pablo's lake from the top of the mountain. We had dinner at their restaurant, the food was tasty and filling. They had a good selection of wines and coctails too. Our room had a jacuzzi with a panaromic view of the lake. They also offered us spa and massages. It is a safe place to stay at. I would totally recommend it.

Beautiful place and great service

The hotel is very beautiful and the staff was very helpful. However, we were the only guests at the property. I had purchased a King Suite through *******, but when I checked in they told me that I didn't pay enough for the suite and they tried to put me in a regular room. After waiting almost two hours they gave me the suite I paid for. The room and view were spectacular, but frustrating that they didn't honor the room I paid for on ******* immediately.
