알비온 호텔 이프르(Albion Hotel)

First visit , spending 7 nights at The Albion. This family hotel, is located not far from the main square offering cafes, restaurants and bars. It also offers secure parking. All the staff are friendly and cannot do enough to make your stay here very pleasant. Our room was well equipped and very clean. There is a breakfast buffet offered every morning consisting of breads, meats, cheeses, all sourced from local suppliers, as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurts and hot bacon and scrambled eggs (the scrambled eggs were delicious) Melissa who runs the breakfast service is very attentive with a warm welcome every morning. Overall this hotel provided us with a comfortable stay, with excellent service in an ideal location. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Very comfortable hotel close to the centre of Ypres. Reception staff (especially Vera) very welcoming and dealt with our requests immediately ie.extra pillow/ mineral water.....It is located in a quiet street and the beds were very comfortable.Breakfast plentiful and varied.

Really nice hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. I arrived 2 days before my group and they organised for me to stay in the same room that I'd booked originally. The room was comfortable, nice big bathroom and good spread for breakfast. Very close to town centre and amenities

An excellent, family-run hotel in the centre of Ypres, only 5-minutes' walk from the Menen Gate. Welcoming staff, good food, and very comfortable room (and cheaper than the chain hotels 😉). I stay here every time I go to Ypres. Highly recommended.

Staff made us feel welcome, were always friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was very good with a broad selection of fresh ingredients. With limited street parking the on site parking was both convenient and needed.

Great location with an easy walk to all the major sites in town. Adjacent car park is secure and is accessible with your room key. Hotel is on a quiet street and rooms are comfortable. Hotel front desk was very helpful with directions around town and spoke excellent English.

I have stayed in many, many hotels over the years, but the people at the Albion are among the most exceptional, if not the most, in caring for their guests. All interactions are met with kindness, and no request goes unfilled; Daphne and Rieke made our three night stay enjoyable, with numerous recommendations for museums, restaurants, etc. Plus the pile of chocolate Easter eggs on the front desk was a hit, and we tried to help them out all we could in reducing the stock. The hotel is ideally situated in the city, which is beautiful, with a short walk to the Grote Markt. Rooms were spacious, well appointed, and comfortable, and each day started with a great buffet breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel. Would definitely stay again.

I have stayed in many, many hotels over the years, but the people at Albion are exceptional in caring for their guests. For an example - after asking to see if any more sweet rolls were available at breakfast, said that they were all gone, but they went out of the hotel to the bakery to get more. Fantastic! All interactions were met with kindness, and after only staying 3 nights, felt like they were old friends. The hotel itself is very nice, and comfortable. A pleasant breakfast buffet also awaits. If staying in Ypres, this is the place to book, no doubt.

As always, Ruth and the team looked after us brilliantly. Highly recommend the Albion!! The perfect place for discovering Ypres and the surrounding area. The rooms are very comfy and the breakfast is great for everyone, lots of choice for every diet.
