그랜드 아쿠아리움(Grand Aquarium)

I went with The Wife and 2 children. This holiday to Turkey was quite simply one of the best holidays I have ever been on. I am trying to separate that experience from the hotel and give a review of the hotel. Even in doing that I have to say the hotel was great. We stayed in the Gardens block at the back. The apar**ent was new (or felt it) and a really pleasant space to be in. There was a small pool at the block which the hotel room looked over. We did use that pool a bit as it was quite private as the guests staying in the Gardens block just used it. The main pool near the slide was a lovely space to be in too. It was nice using the slide and the whole area was just nice. The restaurant was perhaps a bit expensive; we didn't dine there too often as we tended to be out. I used the Turkish barber on site to get a shave and that was good. We took the bus, which you got at the end of the road, into Marmaris quite frequently and we were in Icmeler once too and on the beach there. It really is beautiful. Marmaris as well is unreal. We bought some 'excursions' at the marina in Marmaris such as Turkish Bath, Jeep Safari, Pirate Ship and trip to Turtle Beach. These excusions were (in my opinion) extrmely cheap and they really made the holiday for us. If I was going again I would probably stay in Marmaris rahter than Icmeler but it is handy to get about in the bus and the bus is very handy to the hotel Grand Aquarium. There are a lot of cats. Yes. I have seen so many people say there are a lot of cats. It's not really a negative. It's just a fact. Icmeler and Marmaris are super. If you have booked this hotel you are sure to be pleased with it. I have given it a 4 star review and I would recommend the hotel and the area to anyone. My tip would be to do some excusions and get out into the lovely area and see as much of it as you can. Such a beautiful, stunning area.

This is the most amazing place ever.Hotel is exceptionally clean and restaurant food is lovely every member of staff is amazing professional and so helpful No matter what you ask they will help you Every team member in every depar**ent is brilliant.The Customer Service lady (Saliye) is an amazing lady who is a great help to everyone no matter what they ask her to do Prices are reasonable and great service Had the best Turkish Bath and massage Hairdresser is great too and Dogan at jewellers fantastic Grand Aquarium is our second home, been coming here over 16 years And the owners Yaman Sera very pleasent Highly recommend it

I cant not praise this hotel enough as everything about this hotel is perfect. The staff are amazing as they really make you feel like you are family there. They are friendly, kind, caring and polite and nothing was ever to much to ask... they really make you feel valued. Sally the manager I could not fault and nothing was too much trouble for her and would always come over and chat to is. Mustoda, Mehmet,Muhanmed and Ali were some of the bar staff that really stood out to me and my family as they always made effort to chat and really made a effort of interacting with our 3 year old! Tolga the receptionist was another one that really made a good impression as was happy to help with any questions we had and if we needed anything. They really have got the staffing right in this place. The next best thing about this fab hotel is the entertainment they put on at this hotel as they do not hold back they had massive foam party, bingo, professional dancing, amazing bubble making lady, singing and so much more they are just some of it. The hotel itself is well looked after and always clean and the rooms get cleaned daily while there. Everything was always spotless. The hotel is slightly out of the way but only by 15 -20 min walk which was perfect as means you still got to enjoy the beautiful mountains surrounding it. Then if it did get to much there was plenty of taxis and buses that run along the place so was always easy to get around. Would happily go here again and again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The apar**ent was lovely and modern and had everything we needed. The location was great for exploring the local area and further afield. Our toddler absolutely loved the heated pool. However we were a little disappointed by how loud it is around the complex, loud music being played from 11am until the early hours made it sometimes difficult to sleep. We booked via a package deal and there was no mention of any loud music / loud entertainment so it was a bit of a shock. As mentioned, we still enjoyed our 1 week stay.

My daughter and I were here for 10 days and had a great stay. We had a two bedroom apar**ent in the main part of the hotel, overlooking the pool. The rooms looked newly refurbished, were spotless and the beds firm but very comfortable. The manageress, Saliye, was very helpful, giving us all sorts of tips and information. Each and every one of the staff were friendly, and great with my daughter, who has some learning disabilities. The pool was adequate and warmed to a nice ambient temperature. The location of the hotel is just a short dolmus ride away from the main part of town, or a leisurely stroll of about 15 mins. Overall, we could not fault this Apart Hotel. Will most certainly visit here again.

We spent 10 days at the grand aquarium and enjoyed every second. Id read other reviews of people feeling like family and feeling welcomed etc, I'm not a people person so I didn't think too much of being involved. How wrong I was, it's like the comfort and reassurance that you're welcome and wanted, just consmes you. The staff here are beyond amazing. So helpful, respectful, accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Saliye, the host makes sure she greets everyone personally each day, makes sure everyone is happy and will stop for a chat if you want to. Just lovely. We were looked after mostly by Mehmet, such a lovely caring genuine man. All of the other staff were equally as pleasant and helpful, but Mehmet went above and beyond. The hotel itself is a little out of the main town, a brisk walk or short taxi ride. Taxis are usually at the front of the hotel or 2 minutes away if called. You can also get a dolmus, small bus, from the main road. I loved Icmeler. Quiet and sleepy compared to Marmaris. But as expected there is a larger variety of things in the city. I also have to give a special mention to Yasin, @master_of_hairr the on site hair dresser. He worked absolute magic with my hair (after illness) and made me feel like a mermaid I also had my nails done and a turkish bath on site, all just as amazing with the same high level of care and attention. After the pampering, we had a lovely holiday photoshoot with Mesut, the on site photographer. Not only did we look fabulous, we now have photos to prove it Thank you all for a lovely, family holiday xx

Room was amazing, very nice and modern, shower was huge and pillows were really comfy. Had a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Water was not working when we arrived due to construction but was back on after we went out and got dinner. Safe in the room is an extra £10 per week. Personal WiFi for the room also costs more and air con for 1 is £35 and 2 is £55 for a week although we didn't feel like it was needed. Pool was amazing, very big but quite deep, slide runs daily from 11-11.45 and 2-2.45 and I have to say it was amazing, me and my partner used it almost every day. The restaurant was nice but we only ate and drank there for Turkish night, it was an extra 700 lira per person for a bbq, dance act and foam party which was well worth it. I am vegetarian so they provided me a pizza as well. The hotel is lovely and clean with all staff members very attentive. Also very close to icmeler centre, within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!!!

Back home after an amazing second stay at the grand. 12 nights just wasn't long enough. The grand is somewhere me and my family will always return. What's not to love? Perfect location, AMAZING attentive fun staff who can't do enough for you - shout-out to my favs (you know who you are) 😘 gorgeous food, lovely clean rooms and that heated pool is just lush!!! 😍 cannot wait to return.. ❤️

This place is home from home, saliye is the best hostess and the entertainment staff are amazing especially efe and cedric those boys are true diamonds 💎 Mehmet in the restaurant what a guy, and I cannot leave this review without mentioning the legend and master of hairdressing yasin. What a king! He knows hair like noone else and will leave you feeling a million dollars.
