플라야 벨라 비치 아파트(Playa Bella Apartments)

This hotel was fantastic! Everywhere was spotless and one of the reception staff (didn’t catch her name) especially was lovely. The room was great and quite modern and our balcony was huge although it would’ve been great to have 2 loungers on the balcony as it’s definitely big enough. The only issue was the aircon only went to 24 degrees so during the day it was still quite warm in the room but not unbearable. I really liked how they had plenty of sun loungers and parasols to shade as usually we struggle to find a bed or a parasol in hotels in the past. The location is great if you want somewhere away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to get to the popular areas and taxis were pretty easy to get too into San Antonio town or to the old town. Would definitely visit again!

Great 5 night stay at Playa Bella. The staff were very friendly. My children really enjoyed the kids activities. A big shout out to the animation staff, Veronica and Blanca for making my children's holiday feel very special. Pool was good with splash area great for kids. Food at the bar was okay but staff and night time entertainment was excellent. Beach right in front of hotel with pedaloos. It is a bit rocky but plenty of other beaches within walking distance. Some good restaurants close to hotel such as Johnny's which are reasonable. Boat taxi right beside hotel which brings you over to San Antonio. Overall, a great base for a family holiday and we will definitely stay again.

The place was amazing for the grand daughter who is 2 and loves to run around , not going to go into detail ,the Apartments do what they say on the tin , I was fine until the Wednesday night when i suddenly felt ill and was confined too my room for 3 days just venturing out to the pool to see rest of family, but not far from the toilet ,vomiting diarrhea , now i thought it was tummy bug ,but since being home my daughter has been violently sick the last 2 nights and her boyfriend sick on way home, this seems a bit strange , the thing is out of the 7 of us on holiday , only the 3 of us was in the water swimming , the grand daughter was just dipping her toes , which makes me think was it the water , with norovirus going about , im still sick 4 nights from the first night of sickness , this is nothing malicious against the hotel as i cannot fault it , but just giving a heads up

Probably the most friendly and helpful reception staff of anywhere we have stayed in Spain and the Balearics over the last 40 years or so. We were allocated a studio apartment on the first floor. It had a great sea view and the unfinished building to the side didn’t spoil things at all. Just made it very private and quiet. The sun shone on the terrace from 6.am til 4.pm. Plenty of shade from the balcony above from lunchtime onwards. Cleaning was very good for the first week, regular towel and bed change. During the last few days it was a bit less regular. possible due to a storm one night, which dropped lots of sand everywhere. The cleaners seemed to be working flat out to get it sorted. If you need clean towels you only have to ask at reception. The Play Bella restaurant is excellent. The Nasi goreng is so good. Brilliant value for money. Waiters very friendly. Great customer service. It was our first visit to San Antonio Bay, but much prefer Es Cana and Santa Eulalia area. Mainly because we go to the beach rather than stay around a pool. Unfortunately no sun bed hire on the beach close to the hotel. Playa Bella itself is perfect for families, but for couples ( perhaps a bit more mature) a bit busy. That being said we had a really enjoyable holiday.

Me and my wife stayed end of May/early June 2024 and we’ve stayed here several times before. All the hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Everything for our 10 day stay was well explained at checkin and a hotel map was provided clearly explaining the location of the facilities, restaurants and rooms. Wi-Fi password also provided at checkin and worked well throughout our stay. We had a hire car and were able to find parking on the streets either side of the hotel. Room was as always spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Cleaning and fresh towels every few days. La Bahia and Playa Bella restaurant at the hotel were both great. Lots of food choices and the staff were very attentive. Entertainment at the Playa Bella restaurant every night. Pool area spotlessly clean as well as everywhere else at the hotel. Location is ideal with everything you need around you. There is a bus to Ibiza airport at the top of the road and boat taxi over to San Antonio a short walk around the bay. We would thoroughly recommend staying at Playa Bella and we will definitely be back again soon.

I recently stayed at Playa Bella Apartments for one week. The apartment I stayed in had a beautiful sea view. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything that I needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I highly recommend this family hotel. The hotel has excellent facilities for individuals with disability needs. Playa Bella is fun with a diferernt show every night.

Travelled as a family of 3 with a 10 month baby. Where to begin, the hotel is ok but room for much improvement. We arrived at around midday only to be informed that check in isn’t until 3pm. We left our luggage in the luggage room and had to walk about the area for a while. We got a ground floor apartment which was good for a pram. The room is basic but has everything you need. The bed was only changed once and we only got fresh towels twice during our week stay. Our room was directly below a bar which was quite noisy as the euros had started. The sound of chairs moving about and people shouting woke our baby. There is limited information provided during check in, we were given our room key and a map to the room. There is no signs for the WiFi code and throughout our stay we didn’t get on to the WiFi. The air conditioning in the room is ok but you aren’t given a remote so it stays at the same temperate and intensity, your only able to turn it on or not. This was slightly annoying as the AC in our room was intense but when we turned it off the room got warm. It would of been good if we had the remote and could of adjusted it ourselves. The area is nice, as mentioned in previous reviews there is a derelict building beside the hotel, it doesn’t cause any issues and there was no smell coming from it during our time there. There are a few shops and restaurants along the *****. The beach looks nice but the water is quite dirty, there is nicer beaches which you could spend all day at. The water taxi into San Antonio is only €5 and very handy. We did walk in a few mornings when it was cooler and it’s about a 40 minute walk. The main issue is the men on the street who sell the fake bags and sunglasses and blatantly ask if you want any gear or charlie…every person you walk past asks the same question, it does get very frustrating and I found it disrespectful to be asked such a question when pushing a small baby.

Whilst it was relatively good value for money as a self catering accommodation it is a very noisy place. The door keys are on a metal plate and people clang them together and within the levels it echoes. A lot of people who have no consideration for others that may be in bed and trying to sleep come in and very loudly talk as if it’s 9:00 am instead of 3:00am as was the case of some of our neighbours. The studio gave more level of noise from this point. Rooms cleaned every other day which is acceptable when things are so expensive. The staff on reception are extremely friendly especially Katie and Anna who we had dealings with. Bar staff were friendly too. A good base for exploring and bus stop very close by. But sadly we didn’t have the r&r we expected. Maybe management should consider the keys be changed.

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Playa Bella, perfect from start to finish! Firstly a big thank you to Daniel, Cathy & all of the staff, nothing was ever any trouble & everyone has a smile on there faces, which puts a smile on yours! I contacted Daniel in advance of our arrival with a request as myself & my better half had a big anniversary during our stay, not only was the request looked after, but there was also a bottle of fizz & a congrats note in our apartment on arrival, unexpected, but very much appreciated, to do something like that when your an unknown email speaks volumes for Playa Bella & Daniel! We stayed in a family apartment in block 7 which was fab, beautiful views out on to the bay. It was bright, modern & had everything that was required! Was cleaned every 2/3 days & along with new towels! Restaurant was perfect for families, food of good standard & quality. prices of food & drink very reasonable for Ibiza! Again the staff light it up, great time for kids & adults alike! Pool area was great too, especially for our youngest (9) He got out shrivelled up like a prune & exhausted every day!! It was clean & safe, there was always a lifeguard on duty! Numerous people we were talking to while there were returning guests, I can see why! And we will definitely be part of those numbers in the near future! We found San Antonio Bay was fine, plenty of restaurants / bars. Bit rundown in spots, but can’t be easy to keep places open when your season is only 6 months, but we couldn’t complain! We were all sad to be leaving yesterday evening & would have happily stayed & that is the biggest compliment any guest can pay! Thanks again to all the Playa Bella staff & see you all again soon! ❤️🇮🇪
