오우 크라운 호텔(Owu Crown Hotels)

I lodge at the hotel to celebrate a wedding at an event centre nearby, the staffs are very cautious and welcoming. Their rooms are clean but the corridors are very dirty and dusty. There was so much noise from the poolside bar in the evening. We tried to use the swimming pool once and we were disappointed at the amount of groups of young people who were not applying decorum and were jumping in the pool whom I don’t think were lodgers. They forced us out of the pool because they were not mindful or considerate of other people in the pool. The hotel is full of youths loitering around. I think this need to be control in order to reinstate the standard of the hotel. Their breakfast was also another disaster with little or no choice. The staffs were vey hard working and respectful with good customer service, the management need to apply more stringent rules to prevent youths from disturbing the lodgers. They are also all in the bar areas which prevent lodgers from actually sitting and having a quiet time. On my last night in the hotel, I could not sleep because the adjacent room to mine were making so much noise and due to the rooms having partitioning door, the noice was literally like it’s coming from my room, Overall customer service is 10 and everything else is zero. The carpets on the fourth floor was very dirty and smelling because their is leak when it rained. The carpets should be *****ped off the corridors and they need to put airfreshner.

The worst hotel in Ibadan, very bad and horrible experience. Please be careful for this hotel and the staff especially the hotel Manager. This is very stressful situation and I when some kidnappers banged your door.

Directions: it is not easy to locate especially for a non-Ibadan resident. Contact: There is no functional phone number to call even on the website. Food: Nice and tasty although the breakfast buffet options is very limited. Lighting: The lighting for the premises is poor especially at night. The hotel has the potential to be better than it currently is. It needs an overall maintenance in all the departments.

Stayed here 2.5 years ago and wasn’t too impressed, but this time around, there was much more improvement! The service was very good - front desk, restaurant staff and even the bellhops. The Internet was quite usable (still slow by today’s standards) and the TV stations were very good (more than 15 different channels to choose from). Bathroom, hot water, cleanliness, air conditioning etc all were on point. Last time i couldn’t recommend them but this time? Strongly recommended if you need a good hotel in Ibadan - and don’t mind the outskirts.
