Pyramisa is one of our favourite hotels in Hurghada. Always full satisfaction. For the first time I visited this hotel in 2008 and since then I keep returning. It's a very friendly and welcoming place. Reception: At the beginning we've had a great welcome from front desk receptionist Ahmed Esmael who greeted us with smile and warmth. He gave us a nice room with a lovely view that we wouldn't even expect. He explained everything about the room and hotel clearly. Room: When we arrived to the room, it was one of those already refurbished. Very spacey and modern with a beautiful view from a balcony equipped with a glass table and two chairs. In the room we've found everything we needed for a 3 week stay. Kettle with cups and choice of tea. Hairdryer in bathroom. Large TV on the wall. Very big wardrobe with safe inside. Double bed for us, parents, A sofa bed and second bed for our daughters. Room was clean and tidy with supply of bottled water. Food and restaurants: the variety of food in main restaurant is good. Everyday you have choice of different meet, stews, huge bread station, huge pasta station, a great choice of fresh vegetables and fruits not to mention shocking variety of sweets and desserts. Every lunchtime and evening there's a barbecue outside where they serve lovely grilled meat or seafood. The service in the main restaurant is very friendly and helpful. Waiters and waitresses run along trying to meet needs of all the guests. Of someone is complaining about the food, I think they're just a type of people who complain about everything. Otherwise I wonder what they eat at home because even caviar and truffles after some time of repeating are boring. Lobby, cafeteria, bar: In lobby you will meet your guest relation. A super friendly and always smiling Hadeel. She's alesys ready and happy to help, often outside of her duty hours. If you need any explanation, help or book AlaCarte restaurant, meet Hadeel and she will help you. Thanks to her help we've always had our things sorted and our stay was super satisfying. In the cafeteria they serve a fresh coffee and tea with option of hot chocolate and all day sweet snack in form of pastries and cakes. At the main bar guys are always busy, this is a big hotel but they run around to serve everyone in acceptable time. The beer and wine are very good. The alcohol is not bad but don't expect a single malt whisky. I always go for a dark rum as this one is good even on its own. I don't like the taste of whisky which has medicine like taste. Gin and brand are also good. Our favourite barman was a friendly boy from Kom Ombo. I don't remember his name but he was always nearby to take our orders. AlaCarte restaurants: Some time age a new AlaCarte restaurants manager began his duty - Mr Abou Taleb. Since he looks after restaurant everything is changing for better. The service is much better. The food quality is much better. He personally keeps and eye on everything to make sure there are no complaints. Mr Ab
