My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Riverside Villa during our honeymoon and we had a lovely time. We had a late arrival but were met with fantastic service and got the whole rundown of Hué with a map and suggestions on what to do. In general everybody at the Villa was very nice and accommodating and every question and request was answered. The rooms are very nice - not too big, but feel very private considering they are all right next to the lobby/breakfast area. The view from here is likewise something to look forward to and it made the mornings and evenings that more enjoyable. In the middle-area there is a filtration system that dispenses cold water for free - however, note that the water still has a little chlorine smell/taste which some some may or may not be sensitive to. An appreciated addition though. The breakfast was of great quality but for us personally, catering a little too much to western tastes - their Phó and pancakes were fantastic however!.. And with neverending coffee and delicious food to order, sometimes a sandwich does hit the spot! By the end, the lovely staff helped us book a couple of trips as well as a scenic tour for our next destination. All in all our stay was fantastic and we wished to have had more time in Hué and in Riverside Villa ❤️

This is a wonderful find: a great location, spotless room, delicious breakfasts and super staff. Quy, Tuyen, and Hai are warm, friendly, and helpful hosts. This guesthouse is located in a lively section of town but is down a quiet lane. Hue is a wonderful city to visit. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 2 nights in November 2024. Great location and lovely helpful staff. Our room had everything we needed and we had a good breakfast. On the 2nd day the river started to rise rapidly and the town was flooded by the next morning, including the road to the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were evacuated safely (by boat!). They organised places for us to stay and did not charge us for one night stay (although our room was ok, people in some other rooms had to move and the terrace and hotel office were flooded). Staff helped us carry bags, rung around to find alternative accommodation for everyone and checked tram and plane services. They told us that is was very unusual for the river to rise so quickly and normally they would have a couple of days to prepare. Thank you to everyone at the hotel for helping us and turning a crisis into an adventure!

Beautiful property and rooms, delicious breakfast, and amazingly friendly staff - I would definitely stay here again!

This is exactly the kind of small personalized business that travelers should support in Vietnam. It’s in a great location but feels private and remote, and the staff was incredibly helpful. We particularly appreciated the early check in so we could shower after a long overnight train ride. Breakfast was delicious. As other travelers have noted, the lower your room number, the better your view of the river, but this is an amazing value to pay hostel prices for a boutique experience.

Our stay at Hue Riverside Villa was wonderful. A short walk down a vibrant alley will bring you to your peace and quiet amid the hustle and bustle of Hue. The staff go the extra mile to ensure your stay is comfortable and hassle-free. We were greeted with a welcome drink and plenty of information re places to see and visit. The breakfast that is included is cooked fresh to order and very delicious. The staff also have a good relationship with close restaurants that have great food at very affordable prices. We tried Risotto Restaurant and took takeaway back to the villa to watch the water and eat. It tasted so good we had to take another stroll back for some more haha. For anyone looking for a place to stay in Hue I would recommend this villa with every confidence!

Wonderful stay!! Such lovely staff!! Excellent breakfast and lovely comfortable beds. Situated on the Perfume River - unfortunately we were not blessed with good weather but it is the rainy season after all. Can definitely recommend and will come back again!!
