I just wanted to mention that me and two of my colleagues came in earlier in the week (for the first time) for some food as we have recently moved in to a new office in the area and we were all very impressed with the level of good old fashioned customer service that we received from Trish. She really went above and beyond and it was hugely appreciated. We will definitely be visiting again and just wanted to say thank you. Luke

Nice rooms small but every thing you need. Beds really comfy. Very clean. Rooms are in a very nice little courtyard at the back off the pub. The food in the bar is good pub food. Staff are very polite and helpful. Will definitely return definitely good value for money.

Great value breakfast and lovely staff. We called for breakfast before visiting Oulton hall. Will definitely call again if over that way. Free parking and nice interior. We had the full English and everything was great. Also nice to pay up front so once we finished we could go straight away

Stayed here as we were attending a wedding at Oulton hall and this was a short walk away. We could not fault this accommodation it was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast in the morning was great. I would stay here again.

We had a lovely breakfast with the family, the staff were very accommodating with my mums food intolerance and the coffee is lovely. It had a really calm and friendly a**osphere. We will definitely be back for another family meal - and several coffees!

Pub local to our house, don’t frequent often but we’ve now been for the last time. No draughty ales on, menu choices out of stock, had to resort to 4th choice. Pies came, had clearly been reheated several times, pastry was tough and inedible, filling poor. Mashed potato the strangest texture with a thick skin from being reheated. Veg was ok, well cooked but not very warm

Stayed just for the one night. The room was lovely and the bed super comfy. Best night's sleep I've had in a long time. The rooms are set within a back courtyard to the pub so no noise at all. Had everything you could expect including an iron and board Breakfast great too

Found all staff very friendly, evening meal in pub was good, stayed in room 2, compact and clean, everything you need, good shower etc, coffee pods which the wife did enjoy. Slept well. Breakfast was very good. Would recommend and definitely stay again

Fab food, drinks and a**osphere. Lovely staff who were very attentive and welcoming. Joe was the host and looked after us very well. We enjoyed the festive burger and a few pints with friends catching up.
