Honestly, this motel probably shouldn’t even be open. If I had my wife with me on this trip, I probably wouldn’t have gotten out of the car and would have just eaten the cost and gone elsewhere. As I pulled up into the parking lot I wondered if it was open. There is obviously a lot of renovation work going on and as I went into the lobby there was work actively going on, and as I checked in I noticed there was drywall dust covering everything. Because of the work you cannot access rooms through the lobby, so I was told to use the rear entrance. I went to the back and the door has no latching mechanism, so the motel is open to anywho wants to walk right in. Talk about unsafe! Rooms next to mine and across the hall are in various stages of repair and their doors are propped open. The hallway carpets, as you can imagine with all this work going on are filthy. My room is fairly clean but there was some dust and dirt on the bed covers. Nowhere on the hotel page provided by *******, or on the motel’s own website is there any mention of work going on. I am usually a pretty forgiving customer, but I can truly say this is the worst place I have ever stayed. I don’t blame ******* for the condition of the hotel, but I do think ******* should check the conditions of properties before putting them on your website. I trust what I see on your site and this time you failed me.
