코티지 호텔(The Cottage Hotel)

This hotel is great. We had a friendly welcome and Millie helped us to our room with our luggage. The room had a fantastic view of the sea, the beach was a few minutes walk away, the 5-course dinner and also the breakfast were delicious (and part of the package). In particular, every member of staff was very friendly and efficient. It exceeded all expectations.

Stayed for 1 night as a surprise for my birthday from my husband. Room was great with a lovely sea view and balcony which was even better with the sun being so hot. Very spacious and clean. Enjoyed a 5 course dinner and cooked breakfast the next morning and food was really lovely and tasty with plenty of choice. Every member of staff we encountered were extremely friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble for any of them. Would highly recommend staying here as a real gem right on the coast.

Stayed just for one night while walking the southwest coast path. Superb service throughout, great food, very comfortable room with a balcony and sea view. Something of a throwback to the 1960s and 70s this is a very well run family hotel that upholds traditional values, would highly recommend a stay here if you want a relaxing, homely and tranquil setting. A well stocked bar with a good local real ale, sensibly priced and very good lunches and a first class evening meal all with impeccable service. The Wi-Fi reception was first class, all in all a 10 out of 10 stay and very good value.

We went for a three night stay and it surpassed our expectations. All rooms are sold on a demi-pension/half-board basis with the dinner having a god choice of options and the menu changing daily. Almost all the bedrooms face the sea and one can also relax in the bar and lounge areas. The coastal path and other footpaths are almost on the doorstep. We visited some interesting National Trust properties. Service from the family-run team was very good. I am glad we went off-season as I could imagine the whole area getting very busy in summer which would stretch the capacity of roads and car parks!

We stopped by the hotel for a lunch and subsequently an evening drink. Whilst the hotel has a very 1920s/30s feel to it, it is a very charming and lovely spot with a fantastic view and absolutely steeped in history. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's clearly catering for the slightly older generation, but we were there with our 5 and 3 year old for lunch. The mother and father in law had a nice evening meal there too. Definitely a pretty, historical gem to visit for a drink and a bite to eat. We'd definitely go back again.

Incredibly friendly and welcoming. Staff at dinner and breakfast went out of there way to help me. Very cosy and warm bar where we enjoyed our coffee. Fabulous views from our room of the beach. It was lovely to hear the waves. Room was very clean and shower powerful.

Amazing sea views from this fantastic hotel. Friendly staff, excellent service, fabulous food and lovely comfortable rooms. Our absolute favourite hotel. Lots of lovely walks nearby and a small but beautiful beach right on the doorstep.

We have lost count of the number of times we have enjoyed staying at this modest and traditional family hotel in beautiful Hope Cove. Another excellent locals' last minute deal. Superb location, delightful crew, very good food and room with sea views and a balcony. Wonderful for people watching last night with a wider age range. Fab 20 somethings to guests who insist on the morning's copy of The Times to be reassured their name doesn't appear in the obituary columns. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

I recently stayed at the hotel , I was recommended by a friend . The staff were so welcoming especially the owner called William . He went out of his way to ensure my special requests were dealt with. The views were incredible and the food was very impressive . I must say you can notice the hotel uses local produce and the butter was delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
