Come back to this beautiful 1 bedroom cozy cottage with an outdoor sunroom/patio, detached yoga room, and backyard that leads into the forest. Fast wifi with a mesh system provides complete coverage for the entire backyard. It's the perfect place for stargazing or spending cool evenings next to the indoor fireplace. This home is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, situated on a hilltop, and looks out over O'Neill Spring and the Pumphouse County Natural Area. You will have access to the main house and back yard. The host is nearby, available 24-7 for emergencies, and is happy to help you with any needs you may have. The host does not live on-site. This neighborhood is prime for stargazing as there are no street lights to limit your view. One of the safest neighborhoods around, you'll see people outside walking their dogs at any time of day. We suggest chains or all wheel/4-wheel drive to get to the property. This rental is accessed via guest's vehicle, 1 vehicle allowed. However, Uber and Taxis will service this neighborhood as well, ask them to park at the top of the street so they don't get stuck. There is no public transportation nearby. The airport is one exit north of this neighborhood off of I-17. If you plan to have more than two guests, they will need to sleep on an air mattress (provided).

Our home is an ideal destination for Northern Arizona travel. With hiking trails on our door step, Kachina Village is a rustic setting less than ten minutes from Flagstaff. Relax and unwind in our luxury home, with excellent modern amenities inside and out. Enjoy the open floorplan of the kitchen, breakfast bar at the kitchen island, dining area, and living room, perfect for family gatherings. The ample porch can be found in the back, complete with 2 fire pits, lounge area, hot tub, outdoor tv, and gas grill. The downstairs is complete with a half bath and laundry room for guest use. Upstairs is the master bedroom suite with an adjoining bathroom with a stand-up shower and walk-in closet. The other 2 bedrooms are across from the master bedroom. The full shower/ tub combo bathroom is in between the bedrooms. There are not many fences in this neighborhood in order to maintain the natural setting. Please stay only in this property's yard, especially during the snow season. Guests will have access to the entire home including front, and back porches, and the backyard. The host will not be on-site, but is available from 8am-5pm for non-emergencies and 24 hours for emergencies. If the cleaning does not meet your standards on your day of arrival, contact us prior to 5:30pm. My team and I manage several homes in the area. People here love the outdoors and enjoy how the neighborhood was designed to maximize forest enjoyment. Your neighbors are very kind and enjoy meeting new people. But, they will keep to themselves and maintain your privacy. Enjoy all the wildlife from either the front, or back deck, or on the Pumhouse Wash Trail/Rock Out Cropping/Pond nearby. Kachina Village is a rural "suburb" located off I-17, just 6 miles south of downtown Flagstaff. A short drive takes you to great restaurants, pubs, shopping, and evening entertainment. This home also serves as the perfect central location for many outdoor activities….skiing, snowboarding, and sledding in the winter; hiking, golf, bicycling and much more in the summer. With our central location, you have easy access to the Grand Canyon, the spiritual red rocks of Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, Meteor Crater, Bearizona, Flagstaff Extreme, Polar Express and the North Pole Experience. Whether you are looking to explore the area’s many attractions, or simply spend a quiet weekend with no intentions of even leaving the cabin, you are sure to enjoy your stay. This is a car-access home, out of the city with no public bus service. Roads are paved and the driveway for this home has 3 parking spaces (comfortably). Street parking right in front of the home is not easily accessible. The county plows these roads in the winter, but they can be difficult to navigate without all/4-wheel drive in heavy snows. Close to the small Flagstaff Pulliam airport and around the corner from Fort Tuthill County Park.
