Great pub and friendly staff. Gluten free pizzas aren’t great though! Very tasty topping but pizzas bases were awful and doughy and soft which really made for a disappointing meal particularly when you’re paying a premium price for the pizzas.

This place is gorgeous. Rooms are so comfortable and beautifully appointed. Staff were excellent and so helpful. We are in the restaurant, and the meals were absolutely divine. Hope to be back!!

An easy check in and welcomed by a nice, newly renovated room. Very comfy bed, beautiful bathroom - very large and great air conditioning. This hotel/pub is a great option to stay, eat and drink all on the main Holbrook *****. Our room was directly above the bar and this was noisy at times and easy to hear every word of the staff downstairs - even with windows closed. Only other suggestion, please add an iron and ironing board. I’m not marking it down for that as everything else was great. Would definitely stay again.

The most fabulous country pub! The Accommodation was exceptional value for money. The room was spacious, the bathroom was large and clean, the bed was fresh and comfortable . Fabulous food - excellent staff. Well worth a detour on a road trip!

The fridge was in a poor position. its door opened but you had to lean over the door to access the interior.At least change the door to the opposite side.
Maybe it was the time of the year, as nice as it was it was a little dearer than other accommodations.
For that price poor grade instant coffee leaves a bad taste.

Recently refurbished this hotel is beautiful. The original features have been refreshed & follow through with pressed ceilings & a beautiful staircase. The food is really good quality & the flavours fantastic. The prawn & ginger dumplings are sooo good.

I went to the restaurant for dinner after work and had an excellent surf and turf T-bone steak. A little pricey for a pub meal, but extremely good value for a top end, regenerateively grown dry aged T-bone. All the meat thy use is grown regenerately at their farm, I know because I was just working at that farm before I had a meal there. You can't get more local than that.

Lovely renovation, very clean and neat but retaining the country feel. The room was spacious and the bathroom was functional and roomy. The restaurant was excellent, with a good and diverse menu. A good place to stay, right across from the submarine.

The room while small has been tastefully redecorated, and it’s a pleasure to stay in a historic hotel in comfort and style. Great bed, good shower and bathroom. Ideally located in centre of town, with parking out the back. Lift access to the second floor where rooms are located. Dined in the bistro, very contemporary setting but lacking in warmth
