Fabulous views over the bush and Drakensberg mountains coupled with outstanding sunsets. Great food, great staff and spa. Rooms could do with an upgrade but very comfortable and clean.We will continue to go back. A bush and Hoedspruit gem!

Super nice location and very friendly staff! The Infinity pool and the view over the reserve is awesome and completes the already stunning experience. The dine area is on an elevatet terrace and let you have a look on the wild animals nearby. The food was very good as well. All in all it was a great experience and we can recommend it to every one.

Wow, a truly unforgettable experience. Incredible surroundings, wonderful hosts and super attentive staff. The room was stunning too with a beautiful bed, a stylish bathroom and a very lovely outside shower. You must do a game drive if you have the chance. It was as beautiful as it was emotionally connecting for us both.

Food is excellent and game drives are brilliant as well. This was our second visit to your beautiful home as we can not get enough. We had such a great time and learned so much from your well educated staff and guides. We were spoiled by viewing the big 5, learning different types of trees and birds (those small things, are the big things that count). Thank you so much for having us. A warm, homely a**osphere filled with beautiful artwork greets you when you walk in to Khaya Ndlovu. The view from the deck is Africa at it's best. Compliments to the chef for 5 star dining. The best part is the Manager Vandi. Great sense of humour and hands on approach would make us come back. Trevor the owner's involvement and sharing of information made it a truly remarkable experience. We will be back

As always, the food, drinks and service were excellent. The wooden deck with the view of the Drakensberg Mountains is fantastic and the game drives always deliver. And ... after a wonderful day at Khaya Ndlovu, a blissful bed awaits you in your luxurious room.

After a nigh**are experience on our Honeymoon at a nearby hotel that we abandoned midway through our stay, Kaya Ndlovu was our salvation in the dark - literally! They sent a driver over to fetch us on short notice around 20:00 and brought us back to the hotel. When we arrived it was load shedding and the kitchen was closed, but they offered us a gratis dinner all the same. As it turned out, we were the only two guests on the property and though we booked the most affordable room, they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite (without knowing it was our honeymoon) as a generous gesture, and a sign of the hospitality to come. Initially we booked just the one night, so as to give ourselves an escape and a chance to plan what we wanted to do with the two remaining nights of our journey before departing from Hoedspruit. However, after the way we were welcomed the night before we chose to stay put for our remaining time. We contacted the reservation specialist, let her know that we intended to stay for two more nights, and asked what time we might be able to move into one of the more affordable rooms. To our delight, she informed us that they would honor their initial upgrade and keep us in the suite for the remainder of our stay. The staff there were beyond amazing with their hospitality, attentiveness, and made us feel well-taken care of while also respecting our privacy. We had been at the lodge a day prior for a game drive on the property, which was amazing and a highly recommended experience, and the staff remembered us upon our return, saying, "Welcome back," upon seeing us for the first time in the morning. We cannot recommend Kaya Ndlovu highly enough and feel confident that anybody who stays there will have nothing but good things to say about their experience.

Best value of money EVER! Very friendly staff and management! Real family feeling ! Amazing view at the mountains! Quality of food is also super. Tent experience is also astonishing in the middle of the bush.

Khaya does not disappoint on any level. Visited with my niece and went on the most amazing game drive. Her eyes were on stalks as we were treated to one amazing sighting after another. The skills and knowledge of our guide and tracker were second to none. She returns to the UK, a very happy girl, with her new found facts of the Big, the Small and the Ugly 5!!!! Sundowners were particularly special as we saw the sun dip down behind the mountains as we enjoyed our respective cokes and G&T's whilst located next to a small watering hole. The resident hippo was kind enough to wait until we finished before exiting the water to graze. My niece will enjoy looking at the many hundreds of photos that were taken of a truly magical few hours in the bush. Our day had earlier started with the best breakfast. Huge choice from the buffet of cereals, fruits, cheese and pastries followed by a freshly cooked option of smoked trout with poached eggs on a rosti. It more than set us up for our day as we prepared for the game drive with relaxation for a few hours around the pool and stunning sky deck. Strawberry daiquiris were taken whilst we watched game come and go at the watering hole that the lodge overlooks. This really is a special view and not to be missed. My niece was treated like a Princess by all she met ay Khaya. Thank you for giving her memories that she will never forget.
