긴스이칸(Kinsuikan)

가족 여행으로 미야지마에 가서 처음으로 이용했습니다. 이쓰쿠시마 신사에서 가까이, 메인 거리가 되는 활기찬 상가 바로 옆의 바다 옆에 세워진, 역사 있는 옛 좋은 여관을 현대를 위해 개조한 느낌으로, 시설 전체~방의 설비는 통일감이 있어 깨끗하게 정돈되면서, 곳곳에 옛날의 역사를 느낄 수 있는 매우 멋진 여관이었습니다. 투숙객에게 한정된 무료 서비스가 구내에 많이 제공됩니다. 관내에는 경관을 즐길 수 있는 프리드링크가 있는 라운지가 로비나 최상층에 설치되어 있거나, 취향에 따라 복수의 베개, 유카타를 선택할 수 있는 서비스도 갖추어져 있습니다. 실내에도 음료나 과자 등을 풍부하게 갖추고 있으므로, 세세한 음료 등의 지출을 신경쓰지 않고 끝났습니다. 이 여관은 숙박자의 희망에 대해 가능한 한 유연하고 쾌적하게 대응해 주십시오. 예를 들면 이번 우리의 경우, 가족에게 다리가 나쁜 자가 있는 것을 사전에 전했는데 일본식 방에 침대를 설치해 주거나, 제공되는 기본의 요리를 각인의 취향으로 변경해 주거나 , 어떻게 하면 좋은지 헤매었을 때도 즉각적으로 임기응변인 대응·제안을 해 주실 수 있으므로, 매우 기분 좋게 보낼 수 있었습니다. 온천은 지하에 있고, 대욕조 1개소만의 옛날 분위기로, 그렇게 넓지는 않고, 지하에 있기 때문에 경관도 좋다고는 말할 수 없습니다. 이번에 고안된 온천장과 비교하면 부족하게 느낄지도 모릅니다만, 옛날 분위기 하면서 청결하게 정돈되어 있어 온도도 40도 전후이므로, 긴 목욕하면서 「옛날 좋은」을 차분히 즐기는 곳이라고 느꼈습니다 했다. 탕질은 살짝 짠맛이 있는 싱싱한 감촉으로, 원천을 퍼 올려 끓여서 제공하고 있다고 기재가 있었습니다. 피부가 약한 가족에게도 渁み하거나 건조하지 않고 쾌적하게 목욕 할 수있었습니다. 노천탕이나 전세욕탕은 유감스럽지만 없습니다만, 방에 따라서는 일부 방 첨부 노천탕이 있다고 하므로, 취향에 따라 선택할 수 있을까 생각합니다. 여기서 특필해야 할 것은 요리의 훌륭함입니다. 이런 큰 여관에서의 대지도에 흔히 있는 코스나 요금에 따라 식사의 양에 차이가 있거나 부족하거나, 사이트에 있는 이미지와 외형의 인상이나 질이 크게 다르거나, 여관 요리에 자주 있다 제공시에 식혀 버린 요리 등의 실패감 등 전혀 없는 커녕, 오히려 그 이상, 감동 레벨의 훌륭한 요리를 제공해 주셨습니다. 이번 우리는 방식으로, 본래라면 가선이 기본 세트라는 것이었습니다만, 사이트상에 안내가 있는 4종류의 계절의 코스 요리(가선, 맛 어편, 맛 고기 편, 맛 향연) 를 사전 예약 단계에서 요청하여 가족 모두 각각 받았습니다. 어느 코스도 전혀 흠집이 없고, 토지 특유의 풍부한 식재료를 매우 정중하게 담겨 있어 모두 몹시 맛있고, 별주로 부탁한 단품 요리도 재빠르게 준비해 주셔, 마지막에는 배 가득으로 먹을 수 없었다 솥밥을 야식용으로 주먹밥으로 해 주시거나와, 아무것도에 있어서 지나치게 다할 수 있어, 최고를 넘는 지고의 한때를 제공해 주셨습니다. 더욱 이튿날 아침 받은 식사 회장에서의 아침 식사도 대단히 품수가 많아 놀라울 정도로 호화로워서, 그 양이 조금씩 적절하고, 매우 만족도가 높은 내용이었습니다. 또한 양념은 신선한 소재의 장점을 최대한 살린 부드러운 맛을 지키면서도 얇은 지나지 않고, 맛 조미료 등 인공적인 미각 조작에 의존하지 않는, 자연스럽고 건강하고 절묘한 맛 조정과 적절 한 온도에서 제공되어 맛있고 매우 감동했습니다. 십대의 젊은이라도 아쉬움 등 전혀 느끼지 않고 끝까지 맛있게 대했고, 고령자에게도 온도, 양념, 식재료의 크기나 경도 등도 전혀 문제 없었습니다. 덧붙여 나는 당뇨병 Ⅱ형으로 평소부터 혈당치를 신경쓰고 있습니다만, 이만큼 확실히 여러가지 먹어도 혈당치의 상승이 온화하고 평상시의 외식시와 같이 급등하지 않고, 나중에 컨디션이 괴롭지 않다 그래서 매우 놀랍습니다. 맛의 느낌 방법에 대해서는 개인차가 있다고는 생각합니다만, 참고가 되면 다행입니다.

Amazing view and great service. Very close to the floating Tori gate was a 5 minute walk away. Very nice treats all around, as well as a great dinner and breakfast experience! Make sure to save room for dinner! All around fantastic experience.

A wonderful traditional ryokan hotel on the waterfront at Miyajima with views of the famous Itsukushima Shrine torii gate. The room was immaculate and well appointed, and had a great lounge area with massage chair overlooking the water. We enjoyed the private and public baths, free drinks on the rooftop terrace, as well as a most delicious and impressive kaiseki dinner in our room. Our attendant was lovely and friendly, and took such great care of our mixed Japanese/ Australian party. The next morning we joined other hotel guests in the banquet hall downstairs for a Japanese breakfast. A most enjoyable experience!

Kinsuikan was a cozy nice hotel .The room I stayed was a small one without view,(that’s why the price was less expensive than other rooms)but I could enjoy a panoramic view from the roof top terrace instead . Also all the staff members were kind.Recommendable especially for female travelers.

Nice ryokan hotel! The front desk spoke enough English and had enough handouts to keep us informed. They had a rooftop and street level terraces with free beverages as well as a book nook to read or relax in with beverages. We upgraded to the sea view and it was worth it. We did not eat at the hotel as we needed a few more “western” options but otherwise, it looked good. We loved our massage chair but it could use a good cleaning. I loved the Onsen and yukatas. I enjoyed looking at the rock wall with moss, plants, and trickling water while in the onsen, but it would have been nicer if the glass was cleaner. The onsen was immaculate I would recommend this hotel for a traditional Japanese experience (we had a Japanese room with four futons on the floor).

Miyajima has a lot going for it. It's not far from central Hiroshima (city), it is a short 10 minute ferry ride from the mainland, is steeped in history and has some amazing UNESCO World Heritage structures - including Itsukushima Shrine and the O-Torii Vermillion Gate, Hokoku-jinja Shrine's Senjokaku and Five-storey Pagoda, Daisho-in Temple, tons of cute Deer that roam the island, incredible views of the Seto Inland Sea (especially from the top of Mt. Misen, which you can go part way up via a ropeway), a cute shopping street, and some fine cuisine, including Oysters that are harvested in the area. And during the Fall foliage season, the autumn leaves burst in vibrant colors that add to the mystical appeal (including in the famous and picturesque Momijidani area.) And when it comes to the Torii gate, it shows itself in different ways, depending on the lighting/weather, low/high tide, and dawn/midday/dusk. It is for these reasons that we returned yet again to Miyajima. During our most recent visit, we stayed at Iwaso and were underwhelmed. This time, we went with Kinsuikan, and we're sure glad we did! Originally established in 1902, Kinsuikan doesn't quite have the history or old-Japan charm that Iwaso has in abundance, but it more than makes up for it in too many ways to mention. While the building is nondescript and there is no garden to speak of, it has rooms that offer great views of the sea, has incredible Kaiseki cuisine, some nice common areas including a rooftop terrace as well as the only Onsen (natural hot springs) on the island. When looking into selecting a room at Kinsuikan, it wasn't immediately obvious what room type would be most to our liking. There appeared to be some very spacious Japanese-style Suite rooms with separate living/bedrooms, while the six Tokubetsu ****su (the "Special" rooms) were only 42 square meters in size but were more modern (built in 2021 or 2022, depending on the specific room), had a view of the sea and a nice free-flowing bath in the room. In the end, we went with what they designated as the "Special" room, opting for the allure of an in-room bath over a more spacious and traditional room. In the end, we definitely made the right choice. Advantages of the special rooms are: 1) View of the sea; 2) both dinner and breakfast served in the room; 3) super modern rooms with all of the modern technologies (heated floors, power plugs and USB ports everywhere, for instance); 4) Superior meals for both dinner and breakfast. I didn't know this at the time we booked, and don't have a basis to compare with the "standard" meals, but all I can say is that both dinner and breakfast were fantastic (more on this later.) While guests staying in non-Special rooms can pay to have an equivalent-quality dinner, you cannot pay extra to have a similar grade breakfast. The one disappointment with the Special room has to do with the Onsen, or lack thereof. The in-room bath has some mineral properties similar to Onsen, but they

I've stayed in several ryokans and hotels on Miyajima before but this one really has many interesting facilities! First off, it's got great rooms, quite a few are newly renovated. We got an older room with separated tatami rooms, a kotatsu area, a dining table area with chairs and a TV, and a great (and very well used) massage chair, highly recommended! Food was served in-room for dinner, course by course was introduced by our dedicated servers. But it's the outside-of-room facilities which impressed me: an outdoors sheltered sea-side facing terrace with free drinks for guests only on the street level, an indoors 'book cafe' also only for guests (so you potentially can really spend time here leisurely if your room isn't ready yet), a 5th floor indoors piped jazz free drinks (including alcohol and hot drinks and soft drinks) lounge which also has private rooms, and an amazing rooftop open-air lounge which has spectacular views of the Itsukushima Shrine torii gates. Plus one of the only places with an actual onsen bath on Miyajima though I think there wasn't any rotenburo for that. Breakfast was Ryokan style at a restaurant. We also used the coin laundry and dryer quite a bit. We didn't manage to catch it (kids were too tired) but they also provided a bus to the Mt Misen ropeway which was much earlier than the usual free shuttle bus so it would have been great to head up to Mt Misen before the day-trippers descend on Miyajima. All in all, if I'm back in Miyajima again, I'm totally coming back here!

The hotel is very dated. Sink toilet bathroom look depressing. The room we booked did not have the four futon BEDS describes in the ******* website. There are futons bet not during beds and they have to be arranged every night in the floor by displacing the table that is in the middle of the living room. Food was nicely presented but not at all at par with other Japanese meals we have had in other ryokans, restaurants or hotels. The location is excellent. The island being small it is close to everything sites. The floating tori is being renovated otherwise the rooms facing the ocean would offer a terrific view of the gate.

今回は2回目の利用でした。前回宿泊した時にはなかった屋上にある宮島テラスからは宮島を一望できます。また、料理はどれも美味しく、それに合う日本酒も用意されています。宮島に泊まるならこの宿がおすすめです。
