Boutique hotel. Good location. Possible to walk along the beach to Turtle Beach to see sea turtles in their natural habitat. Service excellent by the manager and his team. Beautiful rooms. dinner and breakfast were very tasty - but facility needs maintenance. No hot water in the morning. AC stopped working in the middle of the night so got hot and stuffy. Many mosquitoes so bed should have needed nets. Outside lamps not working. Pillows and blankets smell mold. Can’t recommend until upgrades and maintenance performed.

My regret is that I didn't stay here more nights. The service was excellent. The beach and pool were so beautiful. There is a good Italian pizza restaurant close by if you're craving something other than local food.

Superb service in a stunning setting. Chef prepared all delicious meals . Very comfortable stay and wonderful to swim in the warm sea and pool. All staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Bliss!

The a**osphere at Villa Saffron was absolutely luxurious and amazing. Situated right on the Hikkaduwa beach the boutique villa was gorgeously furnished and decorated and very comfortable. Sunil, Chaminda and the staff were so amazing and accommodating during our stay. The food was out of this world and regardless of the cuisine every dish was so made perfectly and tasted so good! Overall staying at Villa Saffron was fantastic and such a good holiday!

Visiting at the start of the off-season, we were delighted to find that we practically had the entire villa to ourselves, providing an intimate and exclusive experience. The facilities at the villa were first-class—everything was clean and well-maintained, from the spacious interiors of the rooms, huge bathrooms, to the expansive balcony offering plenty of privacy. The ambiance was perfect for relaxation and unwinding. One of the highlights was the food prepared on-site; it was simply first-class, rivaling top restaurants in flavor and presentation. Having the ability to walk straight out to the ocean and enjoy a clean, serene beach was the cherry on top of our relaxing stay. While the villa isn't close to major shopping areas, it didn't detract from our experience as the tranquility and beauty of the location were exactly what we needed after days of travel and sightseeing. Villa Saffron is the perfect place to recharge, making it an ideal retreat for adults looking for a peaceful getaway. We highly recommend Villa Saffron Hikkaduwa and are already looking forward to our next visit. It's truly more suited for an adult retreat, offering a slice of paradise for those seeking a serene escape.

Villa Saffron is easily one of the best coastal villas I have been to. From the ambience, to the beautiful location, this villa ticks all the boxes. I want to give a special thank you to Sunil, Kasun and the rest of the staff at the villa who were incredibly hospitable and catered to all our needs. A second special thank you to the in-house chef who dished up some mouth watering food which was honestly better than most restaurants around the area. We would definitely go back to this beautiful place and I can easily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation on the coast!

Unique experience - quiet beach far enough from the hustle of Hikkaduwa. Just 5 rooms / suites. Stayed in „Saffron“-suite with whirlpool on balcony. Antiques in the room and all over the very tastefully furnished place. Excellent service. Food on star-level absolutely worth its price ! The manager , Sunil , takes care of you and everything : Feel at home and be surrounded by luxury and that unique tropical touch. We‘ll be back !

Villa Seffron in Sri Lanka is a true paradise for travelers seeking authenticity and privacy. The intimate setting ensures a cozy a**osphere, while the spacious rooms offer a sense of luxury. The fantastic pool is an oasis of tranquility, and the fact that you can walk straight onto the beach from the villa is a real plus. The food is delicious, and the manager, Nival, deserves all the praise for perfectly arranging everything you need. In short, Villa Seffron is a place you never want to leave.

We had a wonderful return visit to Villa Saffron after two years. Total relaxation in this beautiful property is provided by Sunil and his team. The food is excellent from Chamida's kitchen . Room are very comfortable ,bright and spacious . We look forward to returning again !
