앳 이즈 비치 호텔(At Ease Beach Hotel)

We arrived in the hotel late when only security was there and he took us to our room. When opening the door the smell was unbearable, obvious mold on the wall. (As shown in pic) Everything dirty. Towels, Sheets, pillows with hair on it smelling like sweat. WORST NIGHT EVER!!! We complained in the morning, the owner came with VERY aggressive attitude telling us this is what you get for 70$ per night. If you want clean place book in a 5* hotel, which is what we did. He acted dangerously and he sent his staff 3 times to make us leave the place while we are waiting for our car. This place is not what it seems and we would never recommend anyone to have this experience.

Very calm and peaceful location facing to the sea. Very clean rooms and service from kind staff with smiling faces. They always ready to help to the guests. We got the breakfast from the hotel. There are no much verities for breakfast, but the made it delicious and we loved it. Hotel facing to long clean beach and you can find lots of other restaurants along that beach.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Breakfast menu does not contain fish/meat. If you order these, you're charged extra. In my friend's room the AC had busted. They promised to give a discount but pretended they never offered this at the time of checkout. My friends had to pay for an AC room without AC. The receptionist and hotel owner were not even apologetic about the shortcoming. Very disappointing

The location was perfect! However, the cleanliness of the hotel rooms was inadequate. The hotel needs to pay more attention to detail. The bathrooms were moldy and smelled like urine, the towels were dirty and the bed sheets were discolored. There was dust and dirt in the rooms that you know have not been cleaned in months... The staff were polite and attentive. The hotel has so much potential because of the location if only it was cleaner.

Fantastic location, great wires and rooms.friendly owners and staff! Especially the local female employee/ manager was awesome in every way. Good value for money and highly recommend. I’m definitely coming back❤️

Unfortunately, we arrived with a virus which only got worse so didn’t get to fully experience the hotel facilities or surroundings. The weather was also terrible. Our children did have a quick swim in the pool when the rain stopped. During our brief stay we found the staff to be incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, eggs/toast/jam/fruit/tea/coffee and waffles for the kids. The room was adequate although being stuck in our room we would have liked Wi-Fi and more UK-style plugs as we have found elsewhere in Sri Lanka (there was only one). Bathroom was great, room was clean and beds comfortable. We live in Colombo and would definitely consider staying again when the weather is better and hopefully we are in better health! Good value for money. Great service and facilities but some mould visible on the room ceiling (something we noticed in a few different Sri Lankan 3-star hotels).

We had a wonderful two weeks holiday At Ease and enjoyed every day. Especially the lovely and friendly staff and the owners gave us a very special feeling of being special guest. Everyone is! We did some daytrips organized from the Hotel and they were Lots of fun. We also took the airport transfer to both directions and it was right on time and, professional driver and good car. Our child had so much fun by the pool with other children. The room had a very well aircondition, safe, balcony, fridge… No moskitos! By the pool were own towels and lovely set up for sunbathing, also shade when asked. When having the breakfast you can choose lots of fruits, tea, coffee, eggs, toast and pancakes. We also got very good advise from the staff, for our daily adventures.

Very friendly stuff and welcome atmosphere. Pool is nice and clean and also Washington service for the clothes available. Spend the new year with the stuff by seaside enjoying few nice shots of ehisky along. The menu is not the biggest but what we have eaten had been from a point of costs good.
