Premier Inn Christchurch / Highcliffe

Room 29 Christchurch, make sure you don't get this room. It's so dark and dismal, being situated on lower floor, could have been a cellar. One large window with light being blocked by hedging etc. The room was also lacking hot water, mildly lukewarm, if you were lucky. To top it all what lukewarm water that was available was wasted as there was no plug for the sink. So boiling a kettle was a waste of time. Complaint was ignored or fell on deaf ears.

Great place to stay. Easy to cover the forest and surrounding areas. Free safe parking and a good pub to eat and drink.

The frendliest reception staff ever! Breakfast was great, and my wife's gluten intolerance was taken very seriously, with James personally making her toast with the proper stuff! Maddy was a delight making sure we were OK. An excellent stay, with staff willing to go the extra mile!

We'll definitely be back as we loved everything about the hotel and Highcliffe. Excellent sleep and the food was amazing!

Needed overnight accommodation. Had stayed at this Premier Inn before so knew that we would receive a warm welcome (Liz on reception is lovely!) have a clean comfortable room. Booked for breakfast - full English for me and Continental for my husband. Good service even though it was busy. All staff very helpful and polite.

Excellent...Reception staff Aiden and Elise were friendly, helpful and made you feel more than welcome ( they definitely deserve to be promoted soon...they go above and beyond their job description 💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 ) the room itself was clean and comfortable and the surrounding area nice and peaceful ..overall an excellent experience thank you. 10/10 👈🏻👏🏻

Family room was good, our children commented on how comfortable their beds were. There were extra pillows available too. Friendly staff and great location with free guest parking. Great base for visiting local beaches. We took a short drive along to Barton on sea which was lovely.

Very well-positioned hotel in terms of location for the Christchurch area, but also as it is set back from a busy road so minimizing traffic noise, Our room no 29, was in a very quiet part of the hotel and we would ask for that particular corridor when staying there again, A good lot of parking and access to the Globe pub which is serviceable and busy on the night we were there, and had the Champions League on a TV in a secluded alcove, with nobody watching it! One good feature of this hotel was that when we rang to ask questions someone answered on the first ring, a true rarity on the numbers supplied on the Whitbread website.

The hotel was situated in an easy to find location with a spacious car park. The Globe Inn provided a good choice of food including a nice continental breakfast. Lots of shops to be found just outside and a nice few minutes walk to the cliff paths.
