It was a beautiful stay at Alexander. The room was nice and clean. Beautiful view of sea. Service was good.It was hot week when we visited, and there's no AC in room ,just had a little fan, and we had to open windows wide open that made a bit noisy at night. Breakfast was not on point, so don't include breakfast if you plan to visit. Near by so many other shops ,market and beach is on walking distance. It was all together nuce trip.

We checked ourselves in as we arrived on a Sunday, Diana sent us clear instructions on how to get the key and enter the building. The hotel is in a great location with underground parking 1 minute walk away in Carlisle Parade Car Park, Hastings (17150) (all parking in the area is RingGo) which cost us £10.70 for 24 hours. You do have to renew this every 24 hours and can't do so until the previous session has finished though. In the room (we were in no. 3) on the first floor, at the front of the building and with a wonderful sea view, the pier just to your right, we had a double (very comfy) and single bed (family room), a tv, mini fridge, tea and coffee facilities, hair dryer, 2 sets of draws, a good size wardrobe and bathroom with shower. There is some road noise from the main road out the front but you can overlook that for the wonderful view! Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 8.30 on a weekday and they offer a full English, vegetarian version and omelette with toast, tea, coffee, cereals and jams. You do need to let them know the night before of you're wanting breakfast and it costs an extra £9 per person. They do have WiFi free to use too. I didnt ask for any non-dairy or vegan options while I was there but there is a CostCutter just around the corner, also a Tesco and M&S in the town.

Good value and in perfect location on the sea front. Pleasant staff and given upgrade to sea view which added to the enjoyment of my stay. Highly recommend. Breakfast fine. Limited check in hours and steep stairs might be a problem for some. All in all good experience.

Visited with my girlfriend, it’s very much a family business, I met the owners and their daughter. They all go above and beyond. It’s a home from home. Breakfast was fantastic! For £9 it’s the cheapest in the area. You can hear the sea from your bed! Lush!

Great location, spent the weekend with my husband exploring the town, Kate the new manager is particularly lovely and helpful. The room was a little on the small side. A stones throw from the sea front. Breakfast was exceptional, sadly missed the last days breakfast as we had to be away. We will absolutely return. We ventured to rye. Very beautiful would also recommend. Thank-you for a lovely stay.

We liked Alexander's. A warm welcome to a good seafront location was reinforced by a clean and comfortable (if small) room. The seaview is worth paying a little extra for - it's also on the sunny side of the building, although there is some road noise too. We didn't need parking or breakfast so can't comment on those. One thing to note about rooms with balconies is that some of these are extend across neighbouring rooms, so beware what you might share!

Visiting from. Australia. I booked this last minute so only one double room was available. If I had booked earlier, I could have chose a single room with seaview. The room was clean and well stocked. With ensuite, fridge, TV etc.This accommodation is right on seafront so you would expect a little bit of noise, but once windows are closed then it's sound proof. The breakfast is extra 9 pound but definitely worth it. It kept me going all day. Francesca was lovely and very helpful. It is only a 10 minute walk along foreshore to Old Hastings Town, the Castle, Smugglers Adventures and Aquarium. A 5 minute walk to main shopping area. Would highly recommend this place for anyone travelling to Hastings.

Great location, spotlessly clean. My room had a sea view, I was upgraded which is always a great start. Convenience store local, 2 minutes walk. Found a great Turkish restaurant which was tasty. Again 2 minutes. Definitely would recommend and certainly will book again myself in the new year. Kate is fantastic. Welcoming!

Spotlessly clean, smells fresh always. Katie the manger is lovely, from the minute we booked she messaged and have the company WhatsApp, she gave us a free upgrade. We traveled for the weekend, the weather want the best to us. I couldn't express more how brilliantly approachable this place is it's a place from home. The building is stunning. Thankyou Katie
