The personeel were very friendly and helpfull. On our 2nd day we were too late for breakfast but it was no problem for the lady at the reception,we got what we wanted and could sit in the bar to eat,no rushing us to finish,we have not found that in other hotels .

My trip was organised by my daughter’s work as a Christmas shopping weekend to Liège staying at the Globales Post Hotel. The hotel itself was adequate for our purpose. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. However, the attitude of the staff was very poor, surly and unhelpful. There was no milk in our room so I rang reception to ask for some and was told to go to the bar. I went to the bar and had three little pots thrust into my hand from a silent and unsmiling member of staff. We were informed brusquely that we were not allowed to order from the a la carte menu. “Non, that is your food” we were ejected from the dining area and told to go to the bar for after dinner drinks where there were no seats available resulting in us having to cut short our evening and when my daughter asked for ketchup for her breakfast the following morning, she was told no despite knowing they did have some. If the hotel doesn’t want to cater for coach parties, then they shouldn’t accept the booking. I do realise that there were probably discounts given for a large party which may have had a bearing on the attitude of the staff BUT….that doesn’t excuse us being treated like second class citizens. We, the party, didn’t negotiate the deal, we just innocently went on a weekend break only to be shabbily treated. On the plus side, the food was acceptable and plentiful and the facilities were good. The less said about Liège itself the better. I would not go back if I was paid to.

Probably 3.5 stars but rounding up to be kind! As all the reviews have said it's a bit in the middle of nowhere and the rooms are a bit dated but it was clean, the service was great and the restaurant was pretty decent. We were on a Leger coach tour so had the chance to visit little Belgian towns during the day so didn't feel the need to go into Liege in the evenings. The bar area is nice enough and the restaurant also pretty decent but the menu was a bit limited after three consecutive days but perfectly fine. The same staff look after the bar and restaurant and they were superb. There seemed to be some local diners which is a good sign. I wouldn't look to return particularly but if you're on a coach tour and get allocated here it will do the job perfectly.

The hotel is tired and run down. Poor noise insulation from the corridor and other rooms. The condition of the property was not reflected in the price.

Hotel is very adequate for my needs. Went on a battlefield tour so the hotel was a base. Breakfast and evening meals good. Room, although a little worn round the edges, was comfortable with a good view. However my room phone did not work. The receptionist very kindly allowed me to use the reception phone was was chastised later for allowing me to do so. Not fair on her. My phone was unable to be fixed so I was left with no communications for 5 days. NOT GOOD. No attempt made to fix it. Repair man came and went without doing anything. Despite this I would recommend the hotel as a good base for touring the Ardennes. But it is not 4 *.

We were a group of 8 friends staying for 4 nights as part of a larger group on a battlefield tour run by Ledger so we had no control over where we stayed, it was part of the package. From the start it was disappointing that the hotel is so far away from any facilities within walking distance - the nearest supermarket was 1/2 hour walk through some interesting housing. The building itself looks shabby from the outside with the illuminated sign not fully working which is not a great impression. The rooms are all tired and shabby and in desperate need of decorating and new furniture. Some had a small fridge others had an electrical extension lead to increase the number of sockets available most did not. All the staff I had contact with were friendly and helpful however they are very young and there is a severe lack of numbers particularly in the bar and restaurant. Christian who seems to run the bar and restaurant is very friendly and works extremely hard but he is only one man and should not be expected to greet, take orders and wait tables with no assistance. Breakfast is a real issue with around 50-60 people being in the restaurant from 06:45 each morning - there are clearly not enough staff in the kitchen, cooked options are always running out with replacement food not arriving promptly. Even bread for the toaster is not replaced promptly - having said that the toaster itself is completely useless, only half of it works and it is very slow. Whilst we were there there were two main issues which were brought to the staffs attention and need to be addressed access to the pool was included in our arrangement for the first 3 days then the manager suddenly decided we had to pay 10 euro to use it. This was resolved after a conversation by the Ledger tour guide but to expect guests to pay for a swim is a rip off. The major issue for me is the fact that a number of very young ladies were seen to visit the hotel in the evenings and leave in the early hours - one member of our party actually had a knock on the door asking if he needed anything!!!!! This was brought to the attention of the hotel staff. Whether these ladies were an added perk for the commercial contractors also using the hotel I don't know. I have given a very generous 3 stars for my visit on account of the friendly staff but I would not choose to stay here in the future particularly with family.

I stayed in this hotel to visit the city ‘Liege’. Didn’t know the hotel - It is a Spanish Chain apparantly. The moment I arrived the person behind the counter was really friendly and helpfull. I arrived like 3 hours before the check in was possible and they checked with the Cleaning to see if I could enter earlier.. this was possible.. they Cleaning It earlier so the room was ready after I Wauters for 20’. Spacious room with free coffe and tea. Very Nice wellness too. The food in the restaurant is verry good and top service. Lotsbedeling choice at the breakfast.. From the moment I arrived at the hotel untill the moment I left I always received a perfect service and a smile. I visited and stayed at a lot of hotels in Europe.. I must say… this hotel is top! I highly recommend this hotel because of his service and friendly personnel in the lobby, in the restaurant and in the wellness… FYI: Liege is also very Nice to visit. The waffels are the best and there is a lot to visit. Much cultural places..

Convenient hotel for transit stays. The restaurant has a good menu and the food is very tasty. Very attentive staff and pleasant atmosphere. Morning breakfast was slightly disordered with everyone reaching for one coffee machine.

We were in a group visiting the Maginot Line and only stayed here for a night. We didn't arrive until 10.15 so just had time to enjoy a couple of beers in the pleasant bar. My room was fine with a very comfortable bed, breakfast was your typical continental buffet style and was fine. I'd have liked to have stayed for longer as I'd surely have made use of the indoor pool!
