Insula Alba Resort & Spa (Adults Only)

This hotel is so well looked after, the grounds are amazingly clean and the rooms are fabulous. The food gets a little ‘samey’ after a few days and we had a couple of meals out to change the scenery and variety, side note - the deserts are out of this world!! The pool bar is fantastic, Manos is an absolute credit to the staff members, always cheery and happy to help. Swim up room was fabulous, we were originally in room 907 which had a small area to swim in, but we managed to change to 1308 on the lazy river which bear in mind was the same price as the other room we felt like it was an upgrade! This also had the sunshine from early AM to around 3pm, which was perfect to spend a few hours in the shade … much needed. Room 1308 definitely felt fresher, bigger, better sunbeds and obviously a much much larger pool! Thank you to Chrisi for helping and sorting it! The only downside to the trip was the ‘All Inclusive’ not being ‘All Inclusive’ - a number of items on the menu for drinks were not included, and albeit not expensive it’s still frustrating giving you’ve been sold it as ‘Included’. Otherwise a 5/5 review!

Beautiful clean amazing hotel. Great location great pool bar. Good entertainment, hotel staff very good. Very relaxed and romantic break away loved it. We was half board we didn’t always use as there was so much choice outside the hotel. Visited some local restaurants most nights which were romantic ambient settings. Honestly loved this place ❤️❤️❤️

Me and my fiancé stayed here for the first time and can honestly say it’s one of the best we’ve been to. Each and every staff member went above and beyond, always very friendly and welcoming right down to the house keeping. Manos is just amazing when it comes to cocktails!! We had a swim up room which was perfect, we had the sun from around 11am until sundown so we could relax around there without needing to venture anywhere else if we wanted. Our room was always cleaned with clean bedding daily. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Really lovely hotel ,so clean and tasteful done ,staff are very friendly and welcoming,one of the best TUI hotels I have been in .Food was excellent especially the desserts they are a work of art One member of staff stood out for us was Philippa (think it was spelled with an F) from Sweden such a happy girl and was so good with guests, Will be going back.

Just returned had a wonderful stay here just lovely the staff are excellent so polite and helpful. The view from the pool area is great lucky to get a sea breeze too (needed) Hotel very quiet in the evenings but just walk out and turn right to a little restaurant for drinks looking at the amazing sunsets . We have just arrived home from spending a week half board at this hotel. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a private pool room which was very disappointing (see picture) they’re not private and they don’t get sun on the terrace at all. The shared pool rooms also didn’t look very good and aren’t private as people can look in as they walk past. I would 100% recommend the swim up rooms (see picture) as they had sun all day and wish we had asked to change to one of those. The cleaners are brilliant, the rooms are cleaned everyday, fresh pool towels left in your room for the following day. We booked the Culinarium restaurant onsite which was included once during our stay and had the best 4 course dinner, it was fantastic! The main restaurant had plenty on offer for breakfast and dinner, pasta dishes are made fresh to order. We used the spa and had some treatments which were nice but quite pricey for what they are. We had an evening flight home so needed to ask for a late check out which costs €90, but another couple let us know you can book a shower room free of charge so we did that instead! All in all it was a lovely break, I wouldn’t say it was a 5* and there’s not much to see in the area so personally wouldn’t return.

Welcome drink on arrival with a cheerful receptionist! Clean,bright rooms-3 junior suites and a double-all good All inclusive-even the minibar. Wide choice of excellent food and wine with friendly staff. Bar staff were gems with proper cocktails-premium spirits! Iced glasses for the beer Late checkout-7pm-no problem-no charge 50 yards to the beach and sea-100 yards to a beach bar Magic!

The grounds are great ,The sunbeds not to near each other,Although they are extremely heavy to move ,The umbrellas are difficult to put up we needed the staff to help us,The food is ok nothing special The Soup & Porridge were hot everything else was luke warm .The staff are great no complaints there ,.We were upgraded to swim up only thing where we were it was a cut off from the others .The room didn't seem that big compared to the others we saw on the Tv ,The house keeping needs to be a lot better ,We never got any tea bags in the room,all the time we were there.Also we got milk from the restaurant for our tea at the end there was five jugs which were not collected ,They changed our towels every even though we left them hanging up,Also we ended up with six Beach towels ,The prices at the bar are reasonable , Dont go All Inclusive as there are lots of Drinks on the Menu not included ,i.e There was ten beers only two were included in the all inclusive .There is not a lot to do in the evening .There are bars just down the road ,The reps are great , There are plenty of pools . You dont need to book for Dinner though were told to as most just turned up irrespective of the time ,I would say about a quarter of men never bothered about long trousers some looked like they just come of the Beach .

“The Most Beautiful Hotel and People you could ever wish to meet” !! Firstly we feel it necessary to to point out we do not understand the reviews where people have made the odd harsh comment about the hotel! We had a small issue in our room that required attention but this was resolved swiftly and without any fuss whatsoever. The maintenance team were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them! The hotel / rooms The grounds are spotless and the pool area is a very calm area for relaxing and finding some inner peace. The pool is a great size, clean at all times and a perfect location facing the sea and the beach. There are many sun beds always available if your preference is to lay down and relax, along with a pool bar if the mood takes you. The bar staff wherever you go are so happy to serve you and They should be mentioned and commended. The bedrooms are spotless with all the luxuries one could wish for, and the beds are so comfortable and inviting. Our room was cleaned every day and the cleaning staff were always pleased to point out nothing was too much trouble. We were really impressed with their attitude at all times, as they work in extreme heat. The food Breakfast - is freshly prepared and there is so much choice, the hotel have thought of everything. The quality is top class and you could not complain about the fresh variants available. I would hazard a guess that frozen food is not on the menu at the hotel, “fresh” is their ethos at all times!! Dinner - an absolute gastronomic experience, and the variety of food was just incredible, the hotel has catered for every nationality and with such imagination!! Each night the menu is varied with a particular theme, and to die for, every evening meal was just perfection! If you do manage to get a moment book yourself for a meal into the Culinarium, a truly gastronomic experience !!! It is something you will be talking about for sometime - just mind blowing exclusivity, a huge WOW !!!
