비스타 로스 볼카네스(Casa Tropical)

Casa Tropical is a great hotel bed and breakfast. We stayed here for two nights at the end of our trip. The location is beautiful with the fresh air of Heredia. It was close to drive into San Jose and even closer to the airport for our departure. The staff is friendly and professional, property is beautiful, clean and safe, and the breakfast was delicious! Could not recommend more.

This is a comfortable gem of a place to stay. We were here for a family vacation and wedding. It was close to San Joaquin & we were able to walk to the Christmas Market and several restaurants & coffee shops. A relaxing place to just hang out. Beds were comfortable & the breezes cooled the rooms for a good night sleep. Breakfast was filling every day & included in the cost of the room which was very economical. Will definitely come back!

This is an amazing place to stay! The staff is wonderful, the food is delicious, the rooms are very clean, and it is in a very good location with low noise. Great place for a great price!!

The manager Andrea was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and cute. Noisy birds and a rooster woke us up several times. Parking is tight. Only two real spots to park smaller vehicles. Breakfast was terrible. Cold, rubbery pancakes and a slice of watermelon. Also coffee and orange juice. Lady at breakfast wasn’t very friendly either. About 15 minutes away from airport and was fine for one night.

Casa Tropical is clean, has friendly staff, nicely located in San Joaquin, Heredia. Andrea is wonderful and very warm and helpful. Stephanie has a welcoming smile and cooks a nice breakfast! Rooms are comfortable; wifi is good. We enjoyed our stay and will return!

I like the fact that it is situated in a beautiful quiet residential area. You can walk around in the neighborhood and there are several small restaurants and shops nearby (bakery, supermarket, ...). Staff is super, super friendly and helpful!. At the same time it is nicely furnished and nottoofar from the airport and downtown San Jose. No problem to reach everything by taxi, Uber, minibus.

Very cute, small, private and unbelievably quiet given location. This was our last night after touring Costa Rica for 2 weeks. It was relaxing and we were able to walk to a restaurant in the nearby town. She even gave us an umbrella !!

Hidden gem in the city. Andrea was extremely accommodating and friendly. The rooms are nice and beds comfortable. The breakfast was typical Costa Rican breakfast and was very good. There is secure parking for one or two vehicles within the property which was very convenient because we had a rental car.

Lovely place. Wonderful staff. Glad I stayed there. A little out of the way. Google maps found it.
