Yes the rooms are small and very compact, but we were expecting that. The room was clean and everything was there as expected. BUT the poor excuse of a shower is unacceptable in any form. Unless you want a cold shower, but if you even want a lukewarm forget it, the pressure is so low it doesn’t work. The bed was two twins pushed together, but each bed was a different height and very uncomfortable. The property is up for sale so I assume the current owners aren’t bothered, let hope if the new owners are found they can improve what should be a nice place to stay, In the mean time GIVE THIS PLACE A MISS.

This accomodation is motel quality - & a poor overpriced motel at that! The room is exceptionally small - just room to squeeze around bed - not helped by being overstuffed with unnecessary furniture; the pillows are lumpy; the bathroom is no bigger than a domestic cloakroom with insufficient water pressure - the shower was a sprinkle, the toilet seat was falling off, the mirror was conveniently placed to hit your head when bending over the basin, the shaving mirror was equally conveniently placed halfway up the wall & only suitable for use by a giant. There is no breakfast provided & the recommendations in Henley were not open at their stated times resulting in an early morning drive into Stratford to forage for food. I stuggle to find anything good to say about this plac It should also read 'Guests Beware".

When I arrived here my first impressions were of a tidy, bright and airy place without all the hassle. It was downhill from there! We stayed in the middle one of three shalet's with outside seats etc. This was OK but the occasional stench of bad drains wasn't good. When we got into the small room the heater was on, this on a day when it was around 22deg C outside. When we took our shoes off we found that the carpet was wet! On further inspection it turned out that the bedding was also very damp and unfit to sleep in. We tried to contact the onsite owner but no one was around. We quickly made other arrangements and moved on... A few days later we were passing the place on the way home and called in in an effort to see the owner! We were met with a torrent of accusations and abuse, they were ready for us. If you're going to book here you will need very thick skin.... We paid for this property upfront and in good faith and I cannot see a refund coming.
