Our room was ok, but the worst thing on this trip were the two mattresses because when you sat on them they had big dips in them. Like sitting in an egg cup. Being slightly disabled, I found it very hard to get up out of one of these dips. Also not comfortable overnight because our mattresses were not smooth. The lovely features were the walk-in shower, the coffee machine and kettle, and the suitcase stands!! Really handy and nice!! No need for a big wardrobe in a room like this. You just need some shelves and some clothes hooks. The swimming pool was great, even though it felt very cold in there even after swimming for an hour. You need at least 2 showers instead of only one, in the changing room, and you need more 'normal' chairs around the swimming pool area and not the sun loungers. There was only one normal chair. For dinner, the menu was not great. Not enough choice! Some of us do not want burger and chips, nor fish and chips which isn't even cod, nor peanut butter sauce on chicken. I chose duck and told the waiter it should be well done for me and not red. He said it is usually pink. I do not usually eat it pink! The restaurant was actually very dark, but I could see that the duck was red!! I struggled to eat it. It was very chewy! The courgettes were hard and not hot. Only one potato!! I would never order that meal again. Despite that awful meal, we had a nice time. We are hoping the breakfast buffet will be a good one. I am sitting in the egg cup dip on my mattress writing this at 3am as mattress not comfortable to sleep on. However, I will return to this hotel in the future. Some things are lovely, like I have described.

We've been going to this hotel a few times. And the location is very nice. The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The breakfast service is excellent. You can go walking on the various paths .Or go cycling off road Or along mtb tracks.

First of all important to say that we had booked a suite with a balcony. The room seemed to have been recently renovated and, except for the bed, was very comfortable with a living and a sleeping section. The reason for not giving 4 stars has to do with cleanliness. It was obvious that the cleaning staff had not even looked at the balcony for months. The chairs, table (bird dropping!), railing had not been cleaned in a long time. What should have been an asset turned out to be a disappointment. The terrace, which is truly a wonderful and peaceful place for meals also needed a mopping. A 4 star hotel would also have provided real cups and glasses rather the paper ones. The location of the hotel is fantastic, the service is good as are the meals. If only more attention was given to cleanliness / hygiene.

Hotel has a nice location in the middle of the woods close to Rijssen in Overijsel. The hotel itself is very convenient and breaths a very cosy and relaxed atmosphere. I do like special lightning in the hallways leading to the rooms. The room isself was quite large and had everyting in it. The beds are OK but a bit low to the ground for us as on older couple. I love the terras which provides a view of the surrounding woods. The breakfast: just OK with continental features

Ruime kamer met prima bedden en een leuk zitje met comfortabele stoelen. Nette complete badkamer. Koffie en thee faciliteiten op de kamer. Heerlijk ontbijt 's morgens. Heerlijk door de omgeving gefietst op de bij het hotel gehuurde e-bikes. Vriendelijk personeel.

Ik twijfelde om een beoordeling te schrijven, dit omdat inmiddels mijn klacht door Fletcher behandeld is. De reden dat ik dit wel doet, is omdat ik mensen wil waarschuwen. Ik verbleef hier 5 nachten en betaalde €127,- p.n. De omgeving is schitterend, maar kamer 203 verschrikkelijk. Barsten in de wc pot en wasbak. Wc loopt door, hierdoor loopsporen. Vies douchegordijn. Kastdeuren scheef. Het bureau was letterlijk op. Rand zwaar beschadigd, deurtje scheef/los, legplank en achterwand weg en vieze kringen aan de binnenkant. Roest op de verwarming. Poten van bureaustoel los. Ik ging gelijk klagen. Ik kreeg kamer 210 aangeboden. Bij 203 kon ik maar 10 meter voor me kijken en kon ik nog een libel of vogeltje zien. Bij 210 staan de bomen letterlijk voor je balkon. Helemaal geen zicht dus. Buiten dat was de kamer hierdoor erg donker. Dus bleef ik in 203. Later kwam ik er achter dat het matras doorzakt (ik weeg 65 kilo) en dat de resetknop van de kluis ontbreekt. De volgende dag na het hele simpele ontbijt weer geklaagd. Dit is een 4 sterren hotel, maar de kamer is nog geen €100,- p.n. waard. Ze keek voor een andere kamer, dat werd 209, maar die had hetzelfde probleem als 210. Een andere kamer was niet beschikbaar. Ik kreeg €10,- p.n. terug en er zou naar de kamer gekeken worden. Ik kreeg een andere bureaustoel en nieuw douchegordijn, maar aan het doorlopen van de wc kon niet zo snel wat worden gedaan. Hierna zag het er dus nog steeds niet uit. Ik twijfelde om naar een ander hotel te gaan, maar vanwege de mooie omgeving ben ik gebleven. Na mijn verblijf heb ik Fletcher gemaild, want €117,- p.n. was nog steeds veel te veel. Er is excuses gemaakt en gezegd dat het duidelijk is dat kamer 203 niet aan hun gebruikelijke standaarden voldeed en ze de kamer gaan nakijken. Dit is hun reactie in het kort gezegd. Buiten hun excuses heb ik een overnachting voor 2 pers. incl. ontbijt o.b.v. een standaardkamer in een Fletcher hotel aangeboden gekregen. Ik ben hiermee akkoord gegaan. Ik had geen zin om er tegenin te gaan.
