더 매너 온 프런트(The Manor on Front)

My husband and I stayed at the Manor on Front for a romantic 1-night getaway and we really enjoyed it! It’s located right on the riverfront- there’s a paved walking trail along the river. The hosts greeted us as soon as we parked and took us to tour the two properties/homes that make up the Manor. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and everything was impressively thought out (the swivel on the TV stand was a great touch which allowed us to watch a movie comfortably from bed). We were able to run important downtown errands; takeout and wine, all under 30 min! Breakfast the following day was delicious. We were instructed to select our choice of breakfast on a form and submit it in a designated basket the night before. Breakfast is at a large dining table joined with other guests. There’s also plenty of parking right outside the Manor. We would definitely return!

Once again the Manor on Front was a perfect getaway location. Our room was spacious and lovely. the house was in perfect order. Service was top-drawer. As an added surprise the breakfast conversation was fun. Be sure to see the State Capitol while in Harrisburg.

This place is very high end. Excellent turnings and cleanliness . Service was perfect. I’d stay there anytime.

Wanted to stay close to downtown Harrisburg and near old historical areas. The Manor was in a great location with private parking, great breakfast, quiet, and private. I was looking for something different from chain hotels and was thrilled with the unique a**osphere, setting, and reasonable price.

The Manor is such a beautiful sparkling clean place to stay. Super comfy bed and large room. Tasteful furnishings on every floor and lots of sitting rooms and nooks to relax and enjoy. Breakfast was wonderful (including Crustless Spinach frittata and Eggs done your way) and the owners couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. We loved everything about our stay and I can’t imagine a better experience. I am so grateful I opted for this place over the big chains. The mansions are gorgeous and the views of the Susquehanna River are stunning. These are gorgeous historical mansions that were built with ingenuity. They are on a major road, yet you don’t hear the traffic. I took a glorious walk along the river in the morning then returned for a delicious breakfast. The owners and caretakers are wonderful people. We were in the area only for an auction, yet I fell in love with this place.❤️🙏

Property is beautiful, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. Lots of nice hospitality details in the room. Food was delicious.

The Manor on Front is a solid, enjoyable, comfortable, serene and convenient stay, now confirmed by my third visit. It makes it worthwhile to stay in Harrisburg, in itself no small exception. I'll be back.

This was an amazing place, the location was perfect, right across from a walking path next to the Susquehanna River. The room was delightful, the breakfast was delicious. We absolutely loved it and would have stayed another night if they hadn't been completely sold out.
