소네스타 ES 스위트 휴스턴 - 나사 클리어 레이크(Sonesta ES Suites Houston - NASA Clear Lake)

CLOSED! Had reservations and showed up to find we had to scramble to find another hotel. No notice so we are done with Sonesta and stick to booking with Hilton. Called their main number and all they could do is book us at a regular rate far away. No discount for the inconvenience. Forget them.

DO NOT RENT 525 BAY AREA BLVD. Magnetic key cards are deactivated every couple of weeks resulting in arbitrary lockouts with no staff serving the "after hours" phone number. $100 to a locksmith was my only remedy to get in my apartment at midnight, due to the fact they deactivate key cards on fully paid tenants.

No elevator. Pulled suitcase up 16 stairs. Unit easy to manage. Huge closet with both shelves and rod. Window broken in living room. Called me to ask me if they could spend 2 day repair. I said yes as long as something was covering the hole. They said provider refused to work on occupied unit. Building is switching from hotel to apts. Only

The hotel was poorly kept and had popcorn Cellings The room stunk and bathroom was a doll house size Never coming back and we only stayed there 12 minutes and check out to stay at a good hotel The lobby was beautiful room was trash

We had an impromptu stop over at this hotel when our Airbnb had cancelled upon arriving in Houston. The positives: free parking, near to some shops (Aldi was a 5 mins drive away, next door to Starbucks), large hotel room complete with a kitchen and lounge area, comfy bed. The areas for improvement: on a busy road so was a tad noisy given our room faced the road, slightly dated inside, no kettle in the room just a coffee machine, breakfast was a non event….. it’s a help yourself buffet which has limited choice and you have to use plastic cutlery and paper plates. Overall the stay ticked a box and wasn’t very far from Kemah and the space centre.

It was an older building, but was nice. The suites were great with a full kitchen. It was like staying in an apartment. The pool was crystal clear and nice. The spas heater was not working, but it was plenty warm due ti the weather. It had everything that we needed. It was a reasonable price and the staff was friendly and helpful, thanks, Laser!

I booked a studio suite on July 27 for 2 nights, July 29 & 30 for my step son and his 2 kids. I booked thru my companies discount website. I received a confirmation receipt/voucher at the time I booked AND paid. My step son and his family show up the afternoon of the 29th and the hotel says they don't have the reservation and that they have no rooms. The lady tells me that we booked thru a 3rd party and that they can't/won't do anything to help us. When I called and told the lady at the hotel who I was and why I was calling she said yes I know please hold. Approximately 20 minutes later she picks up and sounded surprised that I was still holding, I guess she thought I would hang up and just let it go, HELL NO I'M NOT. Bottom line is that they refused to help or show any concern for a family with a 5 and 7 year old and simply told them to go find someplace else, at 6 pm on a Friday night. Luckily the 3rd party that my company uses found them a comparable hotel at what appears to be a higher quality hotel at the same price. Will never use or recommend SONESTA HOTELS ever.

Customer Service was wonderful. The room not so much. We walk in the room and the smell was horrible and gave me a headache. The countertop was not wiped down and the coffee pot was dirty. The kitchen floor was full was crumbs and a dead bug on the floor next to refrigerator. Carpet was not vacuum and has several stains. The tub in restroom had mildew around the edge between the end of tub and connecting shower wall. Tub bottom was not scrubbed down and you could see builded up scum. I have photos to show dirtiness of room. We did complain to Concierge the very next morning and ask if someone could vacuum the carpet and sweep the kitchen room.
