킹스미드 게스트 하우스(Kingsmead Guest House)

We stayed in the newly renovated "Kingsmead Guesthouse Annex", which is a new property neighboring the original gueshouse. The Annex has a seperate entrance off the road and a walk-though entrance to the existing guesthouse. We were a party of 5 individuals and all of us were accommodated in our own en-suite bedrooms. The house has numerous living rooms and a great entertainment area including a covered verandah or patio and a swimming pool. The gardens are meticulously cared for. The bedroom I stayed in was perfect. A very comfortable King-size bed, an en-suite with bath, shower and double vanity. Inside the bedroom was a flat screen TV and a working space. The attention to detail was immense, 100% cotton linen, ceiling fan and air conditioning, beautiful art pieces, walk-in robe and neutral colored carpets and walls. There was a fully stocked mini-bar, self service tea and coffee station and lockable digital safe in the room. We ate dinner at the main guesthouse on one of the evenings, the set menu was superb. A great breakfast spread was provided each morning and the staff went out of their way to accommodate the earlier than normal service times which was greatly appreciated. I can not fault my stay there in any way. Kingsmead deserves the top-rating as a lodge in Harare!! Craig C

It should be rated 7 stars. Superb location in a quiet but central and lovely suburb, close to all amenities and with a beautiful setting and design. The hosts and staff are magnificent and for anyone coming to Harare you should book in here, without hesitation. Stunning layout, peaceful and wonderfully appointed bedrooms and guest facilities. There really is everything you need. Breakfasts are fabulous and the dinner menus on offer looked excellent although I was out every night with clients so didn’t try these. It will be my go-to place every time I visit. A perfect base.

I have had the pleasure of staying at the KINGSMEAD GUESTHOUSE for a full week in December, while in Harare on Business. THANK YOU SO MUCH to Nikita, Taryn and Courtney and the whole team for your wonderful welcome, your professionalism, your pro-activeness, customer-centricity and efficiency. The rooms are super comfortable and excellently appointed, the gardens very pleasant and your kitchen team AMAZING.... I spent a total of 6 nights at Kingsmead Lodge last month and can honestly say that this delightful guest lodge is literally a home from home. The warm and friendly welcome coupled with faultless service, excellent food and impeccably appointed rooms combined to make my nostalgic return to Zim thoroughly enjoyable. Bree and all her staff were wonderful. Guest house was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was fresh and cooked to order. Never felt awkward being on my own as always someone to chat to. Thank you for a wonderful start to my homecoming to Zimbabwe. I’d recommend this Guesthouse to everybody staying in Harare.

Amazing stay!! The design, decor and ambience is fantastic. Spacious and beautiful. The hospitality could not have been better. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. HIGHLY recommend this lodge. Also, great internet and great location.

Great, very well kept place in midst of Harare. A cocoon in another world. Silent place, welcoming crew, garden with pool. Wonderful assistance to organise visiting places in and around Harare, including possibility of private driver.

Felt so welcome and safe in Kingsmead. The staff Bree, Nikita and Taryn were all fantastic! My baggage was delayed and they were really helpful to help me in every possible way. We had dinner at the guest house which was really good and breakfasts were plenty and tasty too with options to cater vegetarians. The guesthouse itself is a beautiful place to relax and work with very clean, well equipped rooms. Kingsmead really made my first stay in Zimbabwe a good experience I would choose Kingsmead again!
