파레 아라나 모레아 게스트하우스(Fare Arana Moorea Guesthouse)

I booked a room with this hotel. They sent an email through the website I booked with to email them and confirm the room with a deposit as it was pay later. I emailed them multiple times at the email that they provided. Then I tried a different email and they said I didn’t answer their calls (they never called me) so they had rented my room to someone else, so they could either stick me in a shared dorm room or I could make another booking at a higher price.

There is a steep hill up to the property and once your @ the parking spot, you must hike a bit more to get to the rental. Nice pool, very clean property! Owners reprimanded teenagers for playing ball in the pool, so I would have to assume that this property prefers adults over kids. Entrance to property is not well marked (but neither is any other property on Moorea!).

This property is currently listed as a three-star hotel, when it is actually a hostel. Additionally, the claimed amenities are misrepresented. - Rooms contain a bed, two nightstands, and a place to hang clothes. That's it. No TV, no fridge, no coffeemaker, not even a table and chair. Much less a kitchenette. (All of these, as of this writing, are advertised as room amenities.) - Bathrooms are outside along an unlit path. I had to use a flashlight at night. - Wifi is only available at a communal dining area with half a dozen chairs. - "Laundry facilities" is asking the owners to do it for $15/kg. - The "restaurant" is pre-arranging breakfast or dinner with the owners. You can't just show up and order something. There is no bar or anything resembling a bar even if you squint a lot, that's just a lie. On the bright side, the pool does exist, and the rooms are air conditioned. (But the air conditioner turns off when you leave, so it will be good and hot when you get back. This is a good time to take a shower while it cools off.) Finally, I'll add that this property is on the opposite side of the island from any activity you will want to do or restaurant you will want to eat at. It's only close in the sense that Moorea is not large (60 minutes to drive around it), but Fare Arana is still 20-30 minutes from anything.

Great location, great view!! Good to connect with people, other travelers while sharing outdoor kitchen. Lovely owners. You need to rent a car or ask the owner for scooter. 15 minutes to a beach located by hotel with scuba and kayaking. 20 minutes to a public beach. And shopping available near by.

The property is in a good location view is very nice

Très Confortable, vue exceptionnelle, un endroit merveilleux !!J'ai adoré l'accueil de Carole et Érick qui ont été formidables tout au long du séjour ( 9 jours inoubliables ).je recommande cette adresse si vous allez à Moorea

Ravis de notre séjour chez Claire et Erick ! Logement en grand studio+ kitchenette équipée. Vue sur une des passes de Moorea: dauphins, baleines... Les proprios se plient en quatre pour vous faire plaisir et sont à l'écoute. Piscine , location de scooter ou voiture. Nous recommandons vivement ce Fare!

Merci à Carole et Erik pour leur gentillesse. Nous avons passé un super séjour dans un des bungalow avec une belle vue. Une voiture/vélo/scooter est essentielle mais ce qui est super, c’est qu’Erik a tout ce qu’il faut pour vous servir. Nous n’avons pas testé la piscine, mais elle avait l’air très sympa. Et les bungalow sont bien équipés. Et s’il vous manque quelque chose, Carole est là pour vous aider! Bref, je recommande cette pension où vous vous serez en famille!
