Staying at Greenwood Resort felt like a getaway far from the city, even though it’s right in Guwahati. Surrounded by lush greenery and beautiful trees with mountain ranges in the backdrop, the resort creates a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It truly made me forget all my worries! The service was good overall, and one of the highlights was their open-air restaurant, Bagan—such a vibe! The ambiance, food, and setting made for a perfect dining experience. A lovely surprise was that the hotel upgraded our room since we were celebrating our anniversary, which made our stay even more special. The only downside was the breakfast spread, which was quite disappointing. If you’re staying here, I’d recommend skipping breakfast and instead sleeping in and enjoying a leisurely brunch at Bagan. It’s paid, but totally worth it! Overall, a great place for a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. Would definitely visit again!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Resort is awesome. Rooms are well maintained,clean and big. Little out of city . Only issue is staffing is inadequate in restaurant, kitchen and in room dining. They took ages to prepare basic eggs , dosa and tea. While food came to room it was cold

On our way to Shillong, we just dropped into this resort in April 2016 with our kids for lunch and what caught our eyes were the big jackfruits. The resort has the look of a farmhouse and we made up our mind to visit again. Fortunately, we could make it this month but not with our kids. Our main objective to visit the Kamaksha devi temple has been successful but our visit to this resort has made this trip a memorable one ❤. The resort is extremely well maintained and not an inch of it is muddy or messy amidst heavy rains. The name Greenwood is justified. It has a library, pool with a Bagan Cafe, bakery, playground, sitting areas & what not. A Shiv Parvati temple is another attraction for spiritual people. The food is good but breakfast items aren't that many. The restaurant staff, housekeeping staff, security and front office staff are very helpful and cordial. The rooms are very spacious with all amenities. Room nos 201 to 204 are particularly very good.

The food lacked flavor, and service was inefficient with long wait times. Limited menu options and poor attention to detail made the dining experience disappointing, especially given the high prices. Would not recommend this to anyone.

I went there is attached my friends weeding where I felt the place need maintenance and proper construction of the hotel I am happy that I did not choose that place to stay or get my marriage done there also the food is not good at all so no to thia hotel

One of the best place to host parties and hang around with friends and families in Guwahati .Very large area with lush and greenery around!! Rooms are very clean and luxurious with modern amenities. Indian, Chinese and continental foods are very delicious , Staffs are very helpful and friendly especially Ajit Das ( food and breaverage manager) and his team Joyce, pranjal …, I visited here a number of times they never disappoint us. Its the best !!!!
